SoHo, New York ... sry promised Teddy not to be more specific ... this area has a lot of 10 - 14 story office buildings put up around the turn of last century with similar elevators.

wow wooden swing doors, and those bars at the top of them I presume are safety latches so people outside
the elevator shaft won't open the door and fall in?
