Avatar's special effects were wasted on the story.

But there is a lot of hype of the movie. Of course the critics support this film. This film is very, very liberal agenda and that's who controls the media. It's fine if you want to save trees our whatever, but the movie indoctrinated you to be an environmentalist and capitalism is evil and what not, so I think he's getting an Oscar. But there's no food for thought. It's stuffed in your mouth.

Movie reviews and awards are opinion not fact. Just because a movie wins an Oscar does not mean that it is a good movie. Last I checked Avatar did not win any awards. I don't like chick flicks like Titanic, but If you like that type of movie that's fine. What makes you an expert on films ? Why am I not allowed to give my opinion ? Everyone is entitled to there own opinion. Check out some of my other reviews before you judge me.

It makes me laugh that you criticize James Cameron and his movie Avatar after only seeing the trailer. How can you judge a movie and its message from a couple minutes? Watch Avatar in IMAX 3D and tell me that you are not impressed. It is supposed to be groundbreaking b/c of how he utilizes Real D which you can only apperciate in theaters. When critics give a sci-fi/ cgi packed movie excellent reviews then that might be a hint to review the whole movie next time and not the teaser trailer lol

I felt the same when I saw the trailers but There really isn't anything in this film bad besides the story that makes this a bad film. And the story doesn't hurt the film.

OK , Thats just one thing that I did not understand about the trailer.  Like I said this is just my first impressions. If I see the movie I might love it. I'm just saying that if it's a trailer's job to impress me, they failed. I'm not judging the movie. I'm judging the trailer.
