  • this guy is my cousin you are awesome traivs see you in surry

  • That was great to watch. If the goalie didn't poke check and miss completely it probably wouldn't have worked out that way though. Not sure if he was planning for that or not though.

  • Don't get too exited mr. announcer!

  • really not that hard, if youve played for eight years. fuck i wish i didnt quit. i miss playing hockey

  • he is may dad's former student

  • what a fricken goal

  • I was at this game and rooting for the other team, but I had to tip my hat to this player after his amazing shootout goal.

  • ive been looking for this for SO long! i saw it on tsn or something and i looked for hours! thank God. i did this move in a shootout today :)

  • the negative jabs just come from jealous players or parents and just made for no other reason than to think they are so much better.

  • BG37MX. perfect comment. Obviously a

  • skipps69. what are you smokin? he has probably done this many times at a pick up game or messing around. point is had the guts to do it at a crucial win or lose time. i am sure lots kids can tape it over and over till looks good sctewing around but a different ballgame to have the balls to do it at that point of a real game. unless you have some playing experience beyond pond hockey you really shouldnt say too much!!! i am sure the goalie did not suddenly turn into a ghost! he is good!

  • Sweet goal, I am impressed. For all you who think they have seen better or think they can do better - just appreciate it as a truly creative and fantastic goal.

  • @BG37MX Exactly!!!

  • Mr. Urban Un-gentleman, one more comment. Notice the number of hits of this video??? None are even close and this does not include the Yahoo.com home page or the NHL.com homepage. So obviously this was a pretty impressive goal and you should be reading the comments about the kid and see the positive comments from people that know him. Dont act like you do. I am done commenting now on your lack of hockey knowledge and skill!!! Your a joke

  • Mr. Urban Gentleman: You really have alot to learn about hockey, and technique and learn to research what you say before you spurt it out your city slicker mouth. You dont have a clue about this kid, or you would know you are totally off base about all your comments!!

  • for some reason i reallly like this

  • Lots of jealous players that wish they even could come close to making moves like that goal!!! Good luck to all of you players that think you are better than you are! That is the reason players like you will never make it, if you think you are better than others, you'll never go anywhere.

  • No he wont be playing in the NHL in the next few years but will be in the starting lineup for a Division One College Hockey team on a full scholarship in the next year or two and then very well may be in the NHL. This kid is only 17 and has all the natural ability it takes to make it along with a work ethic that NO ONE can compare to. Anyone that knows him would agree 100% with that one. All negative comments are just from jealous wanna be players that dont have what it takes and wish they did

  • @muskjacks A-men!! And what's up with ThreeurbanJackAsses being so down on Travis, My guess is they think he is spoiled and entitled- NOTHING further from the truth!!!

  • @ufwtwg urban thinks his kid or himself sb NHL player that got passed over or better than he is, as do most parents/players. This kid is the least spoiled entitled kid there is. NO ONE that knows him would ever say he does not deserve whatever compliments he gets. He was on the ice every waking minute not at school, including even before school, because he wanted to get better. The kids that make it are the kids that dont think they are good enough so keep working harder every minute.

  • @muskjacks Yes I do get that, and I will say that your observations and defense of him are SPOT on !!! I am no Hockey expert but I saw every one of his games in 08-09 and spent a lot of time around him. I know a lot of teenagers and from my point of view he is THE most exceptional one I have met in many years! Any idiot that spouts about personality not being a factor, has a back row Moron's point of view and knowledge.Your organization has clearly been GREAT for Travis so carry on and THANKS!

  • @muskjacks so true.. thank you

  • Le goaler chit dans ses chirts !!!

  • Never a NHL player, but nice and sweet D ##### player.

  • @ThePurpleNationArmy Never say never, you cannot tell the future!

  • ok everybody hes my buddy hes playing for msu next year and if you get a chance to watch him in person do it cause he does some pretty amazing things with the puck

  • I should have put copy right on it. THAT'S MINE!

  • he does the same thing like me!:P

  • @nickthequickpick I highly doubt you can do that, and if so, we would be watching the video of you doing it, oh, sorry, you are in a lower league probably? Not good enough for USHL. You have a full ride to a big ten school? Stop thinking so highly of yourself unless you are that good, and I dont see anyone else saying you are on here!!!!

  • I love how no one in the audience seems to care at all...

  • @TheEyes629 OF COURSE NOT, THEY LOST!!! Why would they be cheering??? The goal was from the visiting team!

  • ahahahahhaahah i thought i would be popular:(

  • Whos getting laid tonight??? Not 9ava9

  • Comment removed

  • Whos getting laid tonight??? He is!!!

  • @9ava9 you just took the highest rated comment from the other video and posted it here.

  • HE has guts to do that in a game

  • Comment removed

  • poke check really......really.....

  • @penisland88 yeah really

  • has this guy been drafted?

  • @POW22POW22 I don't see why he would. Just because he can dangle doesn't mean he has skills.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman im pretty sure having hands is a skill.. he will probably get signed.. think about you give a chance to develope and show you what he has in the ahl and you dont lose a draft pick.. win win..

  • @POW22POW22 I would think he would stay in the AHL. He's not the fastest or biggest guy. There's tons of d men with good hands. He's nothing special.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman been on skates since 18 moths old, lives and breaths hockey, very hard working, superb coaching, highly intelligent, head is ALWAYS in the game, EXCELLENT ice sense, already going to MSU, graduated from high school 1 year early, Hockey is DEFINITELY in his blood and he is still growing his body and skills- He is going to be just FINE!!

P.S. Yes I know him and his backgroud fairly well

  • @ufwtwg So do I pal. But I also now the sport of hockey and can tell when a guy is going far. I know some minor midget players in this area who can out play this guy by a long shot. This guy will be the average college/AHL player. I don't think he'll be in the starting lineup for an NHL team in the next few years. Central Hockey League might be a good gamble.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman I am holding your "Pal" come and get it !!!

  • @ufwtwg Explain?

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman I just don't really care for your brand of criticism, neither I nor anyone else is trying to say Travis is the greatest thing since the wheel, what was being said is that he is a very good Hockey player and an even better person. And if you "knew" him you would KNOW this to be true.

  • @ufwtwg Rather you seem quite intent on degrading and marginalizing him, well if that is your intent, enjoy your Club of one! No one including myself were or are Furcomparing Travis to all the other talented players around. Simply giving our assessments of him and his attributes. to success!

  • @ufwtwg I will bet money it's going to be along ways from where he is now, which will make him a damn good player perhaps not for the narrow attributes you see but for the cumulative attributes that lead!!

  • Respond to this video... Furthermore, Travis is 17 not 19, he has 5 years to continue grow in size, skills and speed and at his pace those could really move him up the scale as he has been developing rapidly in the last 2 years, again if you knew him and were paying attention you too would have noticed. My bet is he will play all 4 years at MSU and then we will see where he is at.

  • @ufwtwg Do you think I came here to find out his personality? I would go look for some interviews or something. But I came here to watch a dangle.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman . If you just came here to watch a dangle, than why all the commentary??? Obviously that was not your intent and you should really not comment on players or issues you are obviously unknowledgable about

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman If your deluded view thinks for an instant that "personality" plays no role in talent then you need a new rock to chew on !!! So please find an Island somewhere!!!

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman My suggestion to you STOP watching dangles, work on YOUR personality and cut your tainted praddle that only reinforces your obvious shortcomings in depth of knowledge, motives and intellect!! Good Luck "Pal"

  • @ufwtwg Awww. Is the little boy mad? Don't try an degrade me, kid. I'm better than you.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman The only thing you are better than is the Dollar store toilet Paper I wipe my and yo' Mamma's assss with and then stuff it down your throat for Dinner!!! You PANTY-WASTE P.O.S. Get A life- even if you have to turn in your piggy bank and pop cans !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ufwtwg Thats the exact response I was lookin for. You made my day Mr.Predictable :D

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman Surprised you were lookin for anything, given the placement of your empty head!!!

  • @ufwtwg Lmao. You read my 'empty' mind.

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman Careful with the LMAO thing it might cause your head to dislodge and further complicate your so called life, now go play in the litter box where you belong, little boy.

  • @ufwtwg Okay.. this is my last comment. You're not offending me. You're..

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman He's what? WHAT!? I need to..

  • @TheeUrbanGentleman if you are making comments like that, you dont know him at ALL! There are few players in the area that can outplay him or they would not still be in the area!! They are playing MIdget and not Jr A for a reason and still in the Lansing area because they are not good enough. Get real, the Midgets in that area are not even comparable to other cities. They have only been at the most 10 players even drafted by the Jr A or Jr B teams, so you have no clue what you are talking about

  • @muskjacks Well said , and I noticed the lack of a intelligible comeback! It really irritates me when people degrade those who not only have skill but are also good persons, highly coachable, intelligent and focused !!!

  • If only 3this happened in the NHL there would be better fans

  • @BlowerOfJobs too much pressure in the NHL. You gotta have balls to try that

  • damn son straight outta NHL 11

  • Combined the Bure with the Forsberg. Not bad

  • I don't watch Hockey at all but I can appreciate this goal. That was some SERIOUS technique.

  • thumbs up if you looked for this as soon as you saw it on sportsnation.

but either way, this was sick as hell

  • one word...icky

  • tht was just sick

  • seemed like the between the legs was kinda unnecessary.

  • @NBON113 Um, no.

  • @NBON113 but very awesome

  • @NBON113 it's just something to confuse/distract the goalie.

  • @NBON113

    Yeah but no?

  • brick hands

  • The move was perfectly timed. Travis has the goalie looking for his jock strap, up in the rafters. Don Cherry would probably say, "Beauty Move".

  • still not as nice as my move..

  • @skipps69 put your move on here, lets see it! Love all this talk about people doing better moves and better goals, put your balls on the table and upload your videos and let us all decide! I am sure just talk!!

  • @muskjacks yeah, ive been thinking about doing that for a little while..id want to record it during a real game tho, but we havent had a penalty shot in like 2 seasons..we'll see if i can't get it recorded the next time i play a pick up game or something, at least there will be a goalie...but yeah, worst case, i'll just do it at the pond this winter to at least give you an idea, but its wayyy nicer againt a goalie

  • @FinchMusix you wish you could do this

  • wow nice move

  • samee here ive watched this soo many timees! whadda beeast!!!

  • i can do that :D thats my signature move!

  • @TRhockey27 your gay

  • Comment removed

  • Holy fuck man.

  • disgusting

  • NAAASSSTTTYYYY! Muskegon all the way baby! i've watched this at least 20 times now...

  • holy shit. skill.
