The second thing Ron Paul would like to do is abolish the Federal Reserve, which would, if done correctly, end inflation. Under this scenario, real income would remain steady in relation to the real price of goods and poor people would benefit greatly. Inflation is man made phenomena. Then you, I or any other good Samaritan can help the poor even better, when our income increases by 30-50%.
Young successful Americans love the Ron Paul message, but seriously what can you offer those people who do not have the means and require help from others in order to make it?

So far, only the Iowa Forum shut RP out, there have been no others. The Iowa Forum was not a live debate, it was 20 min with each candidate, they invited the front runners of both parties, but only Republicans replied.

The media seems to think Ron Paul is some kind of radical. There's nothing crazy about following the constitution. When people start to see the constitution as being radical then it's a good indication of how much the country has lost its way.

I'm not so sure about this guys knowledge, though... he says the government had nothing do with computing, when yet as far as I knew, they subsidized it quite heavily? Perhaps that doesn't count, since the government wasn't directly involved in that case. But they _did_ subsidize, afaik.

Nice segment but one big critisism of the analysis presented...Ron Paul supporters aren't excited about the campaign because of the ability to be personally involved, rather they are excited due to the opportunity to have a choice that represents true and positive change toward freedom and individual liberty!

1. During the Civil War an entire company of cadets were called staight out of school to assist in a particular battle. They NEVER were intended to actually be used. But, at one point in the battle they HAD to be sent in, there was nobody else. The General was recorded as saying " God, forgive me for what I'm about to do, Major, send in the Cadets. The media seems to think Ron Paul is some kind of radical. There's nothing crazy about following the constitution. When people start to see the constitution as being radical then it's a good indication of how much the country has lost its way.

I have a hard time understanding how people can ignore reality and still think a liberal economic policy can be better for the poor. It may be for a few years but then the costs go up. I actually want to build a freedom based business model and see what happens. I'll just let my employees do what they want for their share of the profits. I bet they build me a fantastic business.
