bullshit. this isnt the normal lara croft, you dont ever play from a birds eye point of view, the whole point of the game is the experience up close. they better be making another one thats going to wow us or im gonna be extremely dissapointed.

Although this game isn't the 'usual' Tomb Raider, I absolutely love it! It's very refreshing, and let's be honest. The last few Tomb Raiders weren't that good (Legend and Anniversary I liked a lot, but do you remember Underworld with those horrible clunky controls and Angel of Darkness? Dont even get me started on that one).

This game's on the Tomb Raider Underworld engine, but the concept works so good.. I even had more fun than TR:U! Hard in some parts (I died quite a few times) but it's so much fun!

I'll shut up now (yeah, thank God lol), but I needed to say exactly how I feel about Lara Croft and all her games and movies. I know the guys from Square and Crystal read comments from fans on YouTube, so they'll now how I feel (and my opinion is not very different from the most fans).

Lara Croft had drawn with Indiana Jones as my favourite heroes for years, but now Indy is the one, although I still love Lara Croft.

And my favourite game series now is Metroid, 10 years older than TR but never disappointed me. All games and plots are nice. Only the pinball is not interesting (just a pinball...) and the remake of the 1st game was not very good, so they just consider the Metroid 1 storyline. And Samus Aran never changed, she has allways been a serious, lonely and rebel woman.

Lara was my favourite heroine for 10 years, so was Indiana Jones, but Indy never disappointed me, his movies and games are all cool, only the game Infernal Machine was slow, but has a good plot.

But the guys who own Lara Croft are disappointing me a lot. Tomb Raider has 8 sequences, 1 remake and 1 Lara Croft game. Among these 10 games (I'm not counting the ones for GameBoy and mobile, most of them suck), I hate TR5, 6, 8 and am not enjoying Guardian of Light. That's why Lara is losing me.

Crystal sucks! Core was great in the 4 first Tomb Raider games, but TR5 and 6 were HORRIBLE. Then Crystal came with TR7, which was very cool, but nothing special, it just looked cooler for coming after the worst ones. TR Anniversary was AWESOME, but it was a REMAKE of TR1, so it was easy to make it cool. TR8 just killed me being short and easy, and Lara's mother's fate was the WORST EVER.

Now Square joins the team and make this boring game. I already commented this one. Lara is losing me...

The best musics and sound effects from the last 3 Tomb Raider's (Legend, Anniversary and Underworld) are in this game. The graphics are cool too, alike Diablo 3 in quality, I think.

But I forgot mentioning Lara is too sarcastic and not serious in this game. In the last ones she was emotional, but it's natural, it was about her missing mother... I'd love to see her old personality back, a serious and not so sarcastic woman, like in TR2 and 4 (both were allways the must popular).

I expected something better. Where do I begin?

- the first cutscene is like a comic book. ALL cutscenes should be in 3D, mainly the 1st and the last;

- How do Totec and Xolotl speak english? They should speak aztec in their 1st scene, so Lara would talk to them in aztec too (she learned many ancient languages, didn't she?), then the rest of the game could be in english;

- And shouldn't that spear be a melee weapon? She throws it and it appears in her hand again? Weird.

I'm disappointed.

Lol! No, this has NOTHING (I repeat) NOTHING to do with the Tomb Raider series. This is just a side game, that's why 'Tomb Raider' isn't in the title. The next of the TR series will have a young Lara fighting off creepy looking Japanese dudes on an island. This game is just something to just ease the our Lara Croft addiction until the next TR game, LOL!

I really liked the series of both games ever since their start and probably until the last parts are coming out... when there will ever be actually last parts ^^... sometimes there are neverending stories... and as it is with diablo it is with tomb raider too - they never get boring =)
