dont think so, even the old on shown in the video is slightly different, yes the old uniform has buttons for the pocket like normal Police Officers uniform just that its long sleeve,

for the current SOC uniform, totally different, no buttons for pockets, all are velcro type.. for easier movements

FYI,the SOC combat boots are from "Magnum" and the newly improved bullet proff jacket "IBAS".Is that correct Miyamew? Not forgetting the discontinued of the 'KV' troop by VSC...so sad!

the combat boots was implemented for quite sometime already, with metal pieces in the front and back of the boots... hell heavy when u first wear it.. i think it was 1-2kg for one pair

i'm not so sure about the BRV aka bullet resistant vest materials and such topics are best not to be discussed here.. quite sensitive

KV is actually "Kilo Victor" .They were from the Volunteer Special Constabulary.I believed you were there when the KV discontinued.Anyway,thanks for the info & nice watching your video.

The one shown in the video is the old uniform, new uniform was implemented in 2005, red beret was implemented for PTT as well in the 2005, but PTS continue using blue beret.

I was lucky to have the new uniforms, look more professional, but it traps heat more easily, there are pockets on the side of the knee area.
