What do people like so much about Netflix? As a subscriber to it I know it's just a subpar service. They don't stream new movies. The TV shows they stream are segmented and you don't get full seasons, sometimes they even break individual seasons up like in the case of Battlestar Galactica. And as far as the DVD service, they get their new movies a MONTH LATER after Blockbuster online already gets them. People who settle for Netflix are setteling for less. There's no denying the facts I stated.
Too inflexible and frustrating!!!! It keeps trying to stream in HD but most wifi routers are to slow for it. So, it freezes then reloads. Freezes then reloads. Over and over!!!! AARRGGHH!
@jimkidd67 that's not possible for me. it would be alot more convenient if the stupid wifi feature worked better. If there were only a way to disable hd streaming.
Cool concept. But a BIG BOO for not making it work on Series II Tivo products. That's just total BS. If my Xbox 360 can stream Netflix wirelessly, there's no reason my Series II (also with wireless) should be left out of the party. Not cool.
Why only Tivo HD boxes for this service? I have a 40hr Series II box that still trucking along after 4.5 years of use, no need for the new box. Plus, I could sign-up for the mail Netflix for 2+ years and still not come close to the cost of the HD box!
This is pathetic. The movies in the theater are not playing on Netflix. And Apple TV is overpriced.
But I wish I had Netflix. We tried to start a free trial on the PS3 with my dad, and he stopped because he thought they would still charge you. :(

I have watched movies this way and I must say it is "Luxurious." Tivo ALWAYS tops itself!

Two questions-
Are movies in HD/Blu Ray available with this program?
What is cost per movie?
JazzMarin 3 years ago
There is no cost "per movie." It's free as long as you are 1) a TiVo customer on 2) a Netflix Unlimited plan.

WOW, So how long will the movie stay on your Tivo before it deletes itself ?
talljoe818 3 years ago
It's streaming so it doesn't "delete." You can stream it as often as you want, as long as the title is in your instant Queue via Netflix.
