If you read "The plague and I" by Betty MacDonald, you will have a grasp of just how serious TB was. The hospitals did the best they could to curb the disease, including pneumothorax and rib removal. To help heal people. I think many people are confusing sanatorium with sanitarium here....TB was and still is a very serious disease.
I'm surprised at this to baffle them, the Waverly wasn't just housed of people who were old with TB there were children there as well. The "White Plague" didn't spare anyone. I'm super excited because this year my paranormal group is going to do an over night investigation at The Waverly an I think it will be a great experience for all of us: believer or not! (Paranormal groups consists of many people of different believes if ghost do or do not exsit- that is why its approach as scentific.)

The Show Most Haunted also did Waverly Hills. One guy was Attacked. I think he was down in the lower levels and he was saying stuff that provoked the attack. If I remember Correctly he even had deep scratches on his body. I think the Episode is on Youtube.

waverly hills is pretty cool i live in louisville bout ten minutes from waverly every halloween its open as a haunted house like 40 bucks and you can go thru you dont get to go on all the floors tho but you do see the body chute

@magnum172 Ghost's are made up of electromagnetic fields, and they need a certain amount of energy to manifest/show themselves.. That's why you don't see many full-bodied aparitions. EMP pumps can be put down so the spirit can harness that energy and show itself. Watch Ghost Adventures Linda Vista Hospital 4/4 theres an example of EMP pumps on that.

This show is a scam, ghost hunting is a scam, it has been disproven many times by the scientific community, especially sound engineers who appear in court to determine the validity and genuineness of clips used as evidence. However people WANT to believe in ghosts and thats why these shows prosper, with editing..

TAPS is a scam though , it has been proven to be a hoax on several occasions. I have personally had several unexplainable experiences and you cant hunt ghosts , it happens quite at random .

The Show Most Haunted also did Waverly Hills. One guy was Attacked. I think he was down in the lower levels and he was saying stuff that provoked the attack. If I remember Correctly he even had deep scratches on his body. I think the Episode is on Youtube.

waverly hills is pretty cool i live in louisville bout ten minutes from waverly every halloween its open as a haunted house like 40 bucks and you can go thru you dont get to go on all the floors tho but you do see the body chute

this place was famous locally for years before tv ever found it, the real odd thing is how massive it is and the different owners have all had diff ideas as to what to do with it,tearing it down is expensive, one owner wanted to create a religious center with a large christ statue standing on the hill, it fell through, as have two other owners ideas, so idk what the current folks will do with it
