I respect and admire Paterno's longevity, but he's not one of the greats, and at this point, he's bringing the program down.

Bobby Bowden shouldn't even be in the same breath as Joe Paterno. Many of Bowden's wins were at two nothing schools, Howard College and the university of South Georgia. Paterno, on the other hand, has had 383 wins at Penn State University, and has won more bowl games than any other coach in FBS history.

It was funny when it happened to Weis. Paterno is a legend who has won with class over decades. Weis is nothing and loses to service academies and Syracuse. Weis should consider it an honor to pick the grass out of Joe's cleats with his teeth.
