I think it's the best to skip hehe... Just what the others said: it wase a lot of time and if you skip you can put al your creative spirits in the new storyline!! As long as there are cute zanessa moments we're happyyy!! ^_^
& um... skip 3 months I guess, besides it would be very hard to write something about they filming HSM2, its something hard to come up with I guess, but you're creative so Idk, your choice.
