@magmagming you can still play it! type 'virtual machine' in on google and click the third one down from microsofot. click the orange button. follow the steps and then run the virtual machine. after that install simtower on the vm and there you go! i'm doing it right now.

I played this game soooooooooooooooooooooooooo much as a kid. I could never figure out how to make it past Christmas because santa would fly by and i'd suddenly be in the hole like 300,000 dollars. I played it a couple of years ago and realized that I needed to have more commercial rooms in my building.

you can play this on XP (ONLY)!!!!! or earlier, 16bit subsystem is needed, windows vista and 7even does not have a 16bit subsystem (emulator) like XP does

by the way..... way to many eleveator systems being utlized (there is a limit to how many you can have), that's the challenge,

tip..... create a hotel with a small width and work your way up..... offices are a nightmare for elevators.... Condo's are brilliant (but they need commercial of course)

the challenge to this game is actually traffic

You can make double floor lobbys if you press the Shift or Alt button !

And you can make it TRIPLE height if you press Shift+Alt+Cntl !!! For real that is the way to go, funky stairs too when you do that. only works on the first lobby though

If you want to have a go at this game and you have Windows 7, I have good news for you: it works perfectly! I wasn't able to play it when I had XP or Vista, now I have no problems at all

That's odd...I had no problems working Sim Tower on XP or Vista. Mind you, it was kinda slow in Vista once you had a tower going...

yes its real and you can add more than one lift to a lift shaft i think you can have at least half a dozen.

Yes you can have 8 lifts per elevator. Thats the maximum you can have. You just click the elevator icon and click on the tracks of an existing elevator and you'll add another lift. Simple

Its pretty simple really just stick a flight of stairs on each level.

Tips dont expand too quickly build up and dont forget that the lift shafts can have more than one lift in it.

@yxxxx Stairs only work within like three floors of a lobby, and I think it's written in the manual too. Try making a tower and building up from the ground floor with stairs only, at some point the floors will be deserted

@yxxxx You've really never gotten a tower ranking? It's not hard to get one in one sitting actually... you can do it in about 3-4 hours if you play for the entire time constantly and work quickly.
