I bought this record about 5 years ago at a church rummage sale for 10 cents. It was still in the shrink wrap with the original price inked out. Always kinda liked it; never knew they were so famous-in an underground way! Sometimes it is good to flip through all those records. You never know what you will find. It was the price that sold me on the Xmal disc.

No. Siouxsie & The Banshees split up in 1996. "Matador" was recorded for Xmal's 1987 album "Viva", so Siouxsie & The Banshees were nine years away from splitting up, whereas Xmal split up in 1990.

I've uploaded both Siouxsie & The Banshees and Xmal Deutschland onto my channel. I've included all the songs from Xmal's "Fetisch", "Tocsin" and "Viva" albums.

Yes. As I said, Siouxsie & The Banshees formed in September 1976 and Xmal Deutschland formed in 1980. So Xmal came after Siouxsie & The Banshees (who are my favourite band).

I remember the first time I heard this tune and thought Siouxsie and the Banshees made a new album. A moment later I realized the vocals were in German. XD
