What can be used, to make color appear? If I remember correctly, we used some phenolphatein with dry ice. Turns the vapors pink because of the ph changing. Smtn like that.

Wait Steve I am sorry to bother you with these questions but would the sulfuric acid and potassium chlorate, again with one gram but not with the gas produced because it is instant exothermic oxidation/combustion which could still expand the gas if lets say it is contained, might not be good because of the instantaneous part but i am certain i could create a safety system

for all of you home chemists you CAN boil down H2O2 it does decompose a little but it does work. just that for when you do boil it make sure that you get it to 30 and not higher. at the higher concentrations it can eat into your skin. and the MnO2 can be attained from a DRY CELL lantern battery just crack open a NEW one so that the MnO2 is not contaminated
