  • Hey ROCKOLAV there's no direct out on the amp. HOWEVER there is a headphone out. When the headphone jack is plugged in the amp is muted. If you had a monitor set up you could easily use this set up to "DI" the amp... hope this helps..

  • thanx man great video ......ive been olaying a pod out live for a few years ..been thinkin of cahaging cause ive no back line......can i di this amp cheers...from Ireland

  • $99.50 at Aurthers music.Well , actually it was priced at $149.00 But I bought a guitar too and showed them an add for a place that wanted $99.99 . I"m happy. Just gotta learn to play. The Mustang is bad ass.

  • You should change the title to "Duece TALKS about the Fender Mustang".

  • Great amp!!!Something I need to ask before buing it...can the tap button be used as the delay and tremolo tempo???I mean by pressing it faster o slower does the effect change???

  • @akiskotsaftis Correct. Any time based effect such as delay or tremelo can be set in real time via tap tempo.

  • How big is the customization on this amp(a lot of pedals choices, etc)? It doesn't sound digital like Line 6 does it? Can you get possibly any tone you want like a nice acoustic clean or 80's metal distortion?(Judas Priest tone for example)

  • Stevoe1000, any of the changes you make on your CPU can be saved as a preset on the amp.. for example, the amp doesn't have a "mid" tone knob, however from the computer you can make these adjustments and save them to one of the presets.. hope this helps..

  • Can anyone tell me if you can save the cab choices etc from the computer...to the amp ...so you don't need to be hooked up to the computer when you want to use these things...

  • Hey Guitardbucket... Mustang I is just as sick, just a smaller speaker, and a bit less power... either way, AWESOME tones.. just depends on how loud you wanna crank it!..

  • @deucecatII I agree man. 8" speaker and volume for days. It's sick how great this amp really sounds. A GREAT little amp.

  • I still want my Mustang I, but the local guitar store was sold out and they're on back-order.

  • PAULKO89

The software comes with the amp.. comes with a version of amplitube too..!!

  • MIKE (cont.)

I would assume your Gretsch will sound good too. Remember that we are working with 40w and a 12" speaker. At high volumes the amp may struggle to keep the low end tight, but lets face it, if you are turning up that loud there's a good chance you are using a PA, and will not need the super loud volume anyway. (minimal break up at high volumes, tons of headroom, as long as your gain knob or channel volume isn't higher than your master volume) PLEASE KEEP THE QUESTIONS COMING!!!

  • Hey Mike, I apologize for the delay. Line6 has some really awesome gear, but in my very humble opinion, where Line6 really wins are individual effects, and workstations.. they have some great recording stuff, not to mention the Variax... HOWEVER, for ease of use, GREAT tones, and a pricetag that doesnt break the bank, YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE MUSTANG II. I can tell you for sure that the blacktop tele sounds amazing out of the Mustang II (I own a stock blacktop tele, that is my primary axe).

  • what program and how i can recording guitar on my computer?

  • you should work for fender as a salesman because you just convinced me

  • Tried one at Guitar center. The classic Fender sounds are pristine; distortion is also quite good, but I was blown away by the the interface and programming capability: this amp can be anything you want it to be.

  • The Dude knows his equipment! The Fender Amp & the presentation has me convinced to sell some out dated STUFF, and get this amp for my small studio, once and for all!!

  • Hey, Deuce. It's Mike Brumley. Nice review. I have actually been thinking about picking one of these up. How do you compare to Line 6? Also, I have a Tele Blacktop too, so I would assume it sounds great through the Mustang II, but any idea how my Gretsch 5120 would sound through it? It's got some BIG bottom end, and that's where I seem to run into unwanted distortion. The amp breaks up if it can't handle the hollowbody. Just curious. Keep on keepin' on.
