this pump no longer comes with that tiny white piece. i was searching the box for it lol and found a piece of paper at the bottom that says it doesnt come with it anymore. i bet thats the problem people have with the pump. my friend told me with the white piece the pump has like no suction and has perfect suction without it. im pregnant so i havnt used it yet, :)
@nonavahdat As long as the bottle can screw on to the pump (which should work fine) then that is a great idea! I used the drops ins and the bottles my lansinoh manual pump came with and transferred the bags straight to the freezer :)
is this pump compatible with larger bottle of playtex? can i attach playtex bottles to it? also i need to pump everyday and i need one that wont die on me so soon, will this product last me for a longer period of time?
@bachisworld It has lasted me for a while. I used it everyday for at least 3 months and then on & off since then for almost 3yrs :) Larger bottles should be compatible. Just make sure they screw in the pump and you are good to go. If you need to you smaller bottles there is an inner ring that they should screw on :)
i have been using the pump and have not been able to get more than a few drops of milk......h/e if if i squeeze milk on hand i can get 20+ ounces......i wud really like to kno wat im doin wrong
@dollyhouse1 I am not sure why you would be getting so little if you get so much with hand pumping. The breast shield may be too small. Does it seem to "pinch" your nipple when pumping? If your nipple doesn't fit correctly into the shield it will "pinch" so to speak and decrease the amount of milk you get tremendously. I had this happen on my Lansinoh hand pump but after removing the silicone cover (which made the opening a little bigger for me) it worked great! I hope this helps some!!
@dollyhouse1 I am so sorry I am just getting these messages. My inbox wasnt showing any notifications. You have probably solved this by now but I will help as much as I can still :) Some women just wont get a lot with a pump. And sometimes putting a warm compress on helps with the letdown and flow of milk. Make sure the flange (the part that you actually out on your breast and your nipple goes into) isnt too small. That will cause the pump to not be effective and you will get less
I am so grateful for this video. This is the pump I will be using after i give birth to my second child. I had an electric pump before that was really complicated and difficult to clean. This seems perfect and easy. I can't wait. Thanks so much for the review. :)
thank you so much for this video. i got this pump from my cousin, she bought it and never used it, and she didnt have the instructions for it so i found out how to put it together but when i tried to use it it wasnt working. I found out from your video that i was supposed to put the little white pieces on it. i thought they were just to keep it clean or something. thanks again!
@mommytob647 No. Sorry it is a/c Adapter only. I don't think a lot of electric pumps have an additional battery option b/c of how much voltage they pull..you would go through a TON of batteries :) Hope this helps
@erubio070707 When he was having Latch issues YES it definitely hurt less to pump!! But after we worked out his latch issues and he was nursing good it did not hurt when he nursed anymore. The suctions are different. A baby is the best breast pump :) A baby will get out a LOT MORE milk than ANY PUMP out there :) Hope this helps some!!
@divastar013 It all depends on your own milk supply. Some people can get just as much milk in just as little time with a manual as I can with an electric. However, having said that..there is no double manual pump, so you would be able to pump faster with an electric double. If you are going to be pumping at school on your break I would probably recommend the manual pump just in case you cant find an outlet for this one? Let me know if you have any more questions!!.. Thanks :)
Thank you for the very informative video :) It's so hard to choose a breast pump! most of them are so expensive! im thinking of getting the lansinoh manual breast pump FIRST and see from there if i need an electric pump. Thank you again :)
I just got mine today and it has everything in it. Im still pregnant cant wait to try it!

@WickedAshora hmmm if you are talking about the valve I am not sure why they wouldnt include that anymore. Without it there is Zero suction.

OMG thank you so much! Im a first time mom and this pump was passed down to me. I was so confused and now I feel way more at ease. THANK YOU!
btw I plan on using this pump with regular bottles and transferring into freezer bags. What do you think about that?
