They are not gone! I will not be able to go out in the peterbilt with out thinking of him! I have wounderful people like you that share their love for the hounds that help keep the memories alive.

They are a breed like no other. They have such a way about them that they get into your heart. I lost my Buddie Hound just three months ago and my life is not the same. I had him 10 years and raised him from a pup. I got a nother to keep him company why I was away and she has not been the same without him. I will always have a basset in my house. The bark alone lets people know that they are there. I know all the pain that your heart goes through and I send a big basset kiss and hug to you.

Aww how precious. I am so sorry for your loss. My basset passed away on 9/9/11 at 15 years of age. I had him from the time I was 8 all the way until 23. Best part of my childhood :) My parents house will never be the same without him. Bassets can truly make life magical <3

Wow, that little guy has some cankles. My basset used to roll like Speedy. He only did it when his ears were bothering him. Wax build up and sometimes even infections. I would clean his ears 1-2 times a week, but every now and then he would get another infection.

Speedy is soooo cute, he probably the same size as mine; his name is Zack. I bet u spoiled yours with goodie food as I spoiled mine:), My bassett loves rolling, walking & goes for a ride. Bassett is one of the best dogs, very sweet & smart.

This wonderful, sweet, amazing dog has passed away on Sunday, April 19th.... we are in shock and miss him so much :-(

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my love of my life, Gino on 1/26/08 and then another dog on 12/11/08. I lost my girl Bassett "Honeygirl" in Nov. 05 Life is so quiet without them. I have two dogs but no Bassett now and seeing these videos makes me very happy/sad. They are the absolute best.
