Best part of the first MK movie , was Liu Kang's random and unnecessary summersault flip thing he did over the rock during the Reptile fight :) It might've been the part where Sonya , Cage , and Kang fight that bunch of guys though . . .

I loved the fight between Lui Kang and Reptile in the 1st one. At least I'm pretty sure it was the 1st one. Lui Kang kicked his ass... but Reptile is still a badass. The Sub-Zero and Lui Kang fight wasn't bad either.

By "the whole Raiden thing", do you mean how the actor was changed? I felt the fight scene between Kang and Reptile was one of the best in MK.
