  • those caps will ice up so be sure to spray them with silicon i had a problem like that on my quad with plugs in the same spot as that

  • is it a 800?

  • No Zoo it is a 750. Wish it was an 800. :)

  • you should invest some money into plow lights because the plow will block out the stock lights and a roof to keep the snow off you.

  • How many belts have you gone thru? I'm suprised you did not instal an enclosure kit.

  • We haven't burn't up any belts with this Teryx but it doesn't have a season of plowing on it yet either, we will se how it goes. If I go with an enclosure, I will have to get it out in the rain and drive it first and see how vision is out of one of these. Plowing snow at night while it is still snowing and having the glass fogged up and water running down all the glass would not be good. You have to be able to see very well out all sides of your vehicle when plowing.

  • I have a lexan windshield and it is already scratched. You would have to go with a hard enclosure kit with a wiper and all. They are around 3K. As for the heat, the engine heat vents onto the cab and its quite cozy. You can also install a heater block. I love my teryx just the CVT has the typical kawi problems. If you keep the belt adjusted right and plow in low you will be fine.

  • Thank's for the info swampcat. I agree on the enclosure. We'll see how it goes this year without one and maybe look into one next year.

  • seems like a nice set up but isnt this a little over kill for driveways?

  • anthony, we don't see it as overkill. We will add more to this unit next year making it even more suitable for our needs. Thank for posting.

  • carver60 from plowsite :D

  • This is the most amazing thing ive ever seeen. it makes me want to cry. you guys did not leave anything out of this unit! the leds are a bit cheap...and I would recomend buying name brands, beacuse those units are not reliable..trust me i ahve the same ones, and then i bought the name brands. if you want more info send a pm my way. ive never been turned on my an atv/utv, but now i can say that i have! Cant wait to get some vids of my outlander 500 tthis winter. i have vids of it with the lights

  • Zootoo63, thanks for your comments. Yes the strobes are e bay cheap units. We did take each one apart and waterproof the case and wiring. We just bought this unit 2 months ago and we were running short on time to get it rigged for plowing. It will have many more upgrades by this time next year. Thanks

  • Thanks Yellowsnow.

  • sweeet setup, i wish i had that

  • So you trailer the ATV to each property? I get to sit inside also : )

  • I plow with a jeep that has a 4 inch lift and finish 40 to 60 homes in 8 hrs...I've been stuck more than a few times and I've been plowing over 15 years.

  • You plow driveway's with a truck, that's your problem. If you want to knock out res. driveways, you do it with atv's or one of these machines. I have taken over at least 6 jobs from guy's that were out trying to do it with trucks and did more damage to the property than anything and the driveway looks like shit when thay are done because the truck is so big they can't get where I can get. These are $2,000,000.00 to $6,000,000.00 homes where I plow.

  • You bring your jeep out there and get it stuck in one of their manicured and landscaped yards 1 time and you will have to sell that Jeep to pay for the damages. I have never, NEVER been stuck plowing snow. You say you have many, Learn how to plow.

  • That is an awesome setup, won't take you that long if you know what you're doing. Throw some weight in the back as ballast and you should be good to go.

  • Thanks EasterRyder, Yea I put 15 -50 lb. bags of salt in the rear and bladed the gravel driveway at my shop and it did great. Can't wait for the snow to fly.

  • 30 homes will take you forever. if you get over a foot of snow it will take you even longer.

  • Well Marty, considering we have been plowing these same driveway's for 11 years with a Polaris Scrambler 400 4x4 and a 4' blade with 12" of snow many times in 7 hrs, I think we will be just fine with twice the machine and a 6' blade. Thanks for your knowledge of my route and my finish time though.
