I would say it's a little of both. Sure it is beta, but if you are running high settings not having a quad core is a real downside. One of my friends that I talked to last night was complaining about heavy lag in beta as well. He said it must be his processor, he has a terrible duo core. Under the recommended system specs of the game it says quad core under cpu specs. I say just wait for the full release of the game, and try it out a couple of days after its launch.

YES I just got beta key. I signed up for it on their website acouple weeks ago and didn't even have to buy anything! Hopefully it will run on my 2.0ghz core 2 duo, GeForce 9300m 512 mb lappy. I'm downloading the beta now.

Tbh mate im pretty much DEFINATELY sure it can the 4850 is still a brilliant card imo. i have one with my pc and it still runs almost all games brilliantly on the highest settings

If so. i've not really experienced many problems and ive played quite a few games. but now ive got the latest drivers i've seen vast improvements on games such as crysis, gta 4 etc. but usualy the 4850 has absoloutely no trouble with any games

I mean Ati cards in general. Last time I tried playing with an Ati card, I got crashes and glitches on Lock-on. GTA4 and Crysis are well known games, I'm not expecting problems there whatsoever, but what about older, less known games?

Dude, there is NO DirectX 11 features in the beta. That is saved for the full game. This build is 6 weeks old according to the developers and it also has low res textures apart from character models.

Might want to check your info, there is indeed dx11 support in the beta, "repi" on the beta forums confirmed it. Only seems to make the shadows smoother though.

that game is awesome even though i cant play it on high setting smooth enought. the sound is amazing the destruction is awesome the only thing i didnt like is that you have to use alot of bullets to kill someone and sniper rifle cant 1 hit a person.. that just sucks. even in this video he need to use like 15 bullets with the machine gun to kill someone..

It wasn't that I had to use a lot of bullets, its just that I was recording at 15 fps. This game needs beastly graphics! Thus people moved faster then my crosshair, so it was hard to aim. When I am not recording sniping isn't to hard. I have gotten some 1 shot kills and even some head shots. See you on the Battlefield!
