  • Agree with vokepasa21 here - lovely swing/pace to this set.

  • The Long Drop is a great tune by Richard Twomey from Seattle Wa. Randall Bays does a nice set with this tune in "Pig Town Fling"

  • Yaysus...the Germans are everywhere!!!

  • They must have got this set from Kev Crafword. He has a great recording of it on : "In Good Company".

  • Great music. Things have changed though when you see all the teapot and cups on the table instead of creamy pints.

  • i drank there for years ?? dose brian nestor still drink there ??

  • I love this music! I love these people! TY for sharing this!!!

  • Thank you for that, kjayisme. I've heard them quiet a number of times but did not have the names for them. Thanks again.

  • Anyone know the names of those two reels?

  • The first reel is composed by Richard Twomey from Seattle. It's called the Long Drop. The second is called Callaghan's.

  • Hope to hear this great music next time I go to Ennis! You don´t get to hear that here in Brazil.

  • great music, excellent bodhran player!

  • Great Groove - one of the best I've heard anywhere - great fun to discover this video late one night and realize I knew the bodhran player.

  • very nice dude!

  • Which pub is that? I'm sure I've been playing there a couple of times...bye the way, great stuff, nice tunes and lovely pace! :)

    Thank for sharing it

  • It was Tom Steele's.

  • Nice one, four of them (flute, fiddle, guitar and bodhran) are actually germans..

  • Halfway through the session the tellys had to be turned off as they were playing MTV's 100 sexiest videos and none of the blokes were concentrating on the music.

  • Lovely lilt! First time I've seen a pub session with a table full of tea cups though - Lurch Anderson and the Sage Prohibitionists must be extending their influences overseas lol

  • Ita all about DUI, and over there , they can get you in the morning ,on the way to work ,if you had that extra pint or five ,

  • excellent! Brilliant pace and everything!
