Amazing... What also amazes me is that babies can legally be aborted up until 23-24 weeks or even older in the US and yet here are these sweet little angels struggling to survive... why are our morals so backward? Just look at any other videos of premature babies being born. These are human beings not lumps of cells. Wake up people!
I thank you so much for this video, my daughter just gave birth to twins at 23 weeks. My granddaughter went home to be with God, although it hurts I know God don't make mistakes. My grandson is still here being my little hero, but I'm putting all trust in God. Because with him all things are very possible. The other heroes are the parents who are by there sides in the NICU every moment possible, especially when there are other children at home to attend to. @donnad23 that is not written in stone, my daughter who has hemiparisis left sided and mild cp, is involved in school, church and takes dance, although she may struggle doing minor things, you can't even tell there is anything wrong. She is an angel, and an inspirtation to all that knows her.!

i was 4 lbs 9 oz at birth but I was born at 42 weeks. due to a placental tear, I was the size of a 32 week fetus. No complications except I'm extremely short and tiny ! Everyone thought my baby girl would be the same but at age 16, I gave birth to a beautiful 7 lb 11 oz baby girl. And at 4'10? I did it naturally :) I'm proud to be here today <3
my friend had her twin boys at 22 weeks because of an infection. they re 3 years old now and one has special needs because he got meningitis at the hospital @ two months old but the other one is perfectly healthy. my other friend is 26 weeks along and in the hospital about to have to have her baby girl. i'm watching videos like this and sendin some to her to show her there is hope. Even if it's just a little bit.

Amazing! ^_^ The earliest a baby can be born is at 21 weeks gestation. This is when the Avioli are developing in the lungs which means the baby can have a fighting chance on surviving and can try to breathe on his/her own outside of the womb. Such a miracle - the complicated and unique forming of a baby! God is so amazing!
Oh wow.. that is just amazing. As I am writing this I am 22+4 and it's insane to think that should my baby boy come into this world now, he would actually have a chance of surviving. I can only imagine how hard this was for you.. So good to see that they fought the battle and won! :)

I often wonder why people watch these videos and then leave nasty insensitive comments which are completely uncalled for. Womens and Childrens Hospital where these twins were born is a Top Hospital. They have saved many micro-preemie miracles, like these blessed miracle twins. 1 of my best birth experiences, was at this Hospital, & the best treatment Ive gotten after having a baby in Hospital, was at this same Hospital. If I could have my 4th child due November 6th 2011, at Womens & Childrens Hospital. I would, but due to a history of 3 rapid births, my partner wants me to have my 4th at a closer Hospital.

A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to see if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said "Get the kids and get out of the house, we'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue". I hung in there for 10 wks born 8 weeks early, now 7'2" 289 lbs.still my babi

a friend of mine (TheFluffyblade) was born at 22 weeks as well and also had to stay in the hospital for 6 months. she had so many problems with her nerves, heart, and lungs. They said she wouldn't survive and look at her now. she still sort of gets panty when she runs alot though but other than that she is ok but a side effect from the treatment was her visual impairment.

I was very advanced all through grade school.graduated with honors in H.S as valedictorian. and am a 3rd yr student in a private Medical School that i had to be accepted in to via exams. what've u done?
My son was 660 grams at 30 weeks pregnancy, at birth.They discovered i have breast cancer so i had a Caesarean. He is till in hospital. Exept for is colestase, he goes very well. He semm to be cranky, espacally wen he is hungry. Just love him!

GRATS! It was just a few years ago that the standard for survivability was 24 weeks. According to the registry of the world's tiniest babies, the record is 21 weeks, 6 days (Amillia Sonja Taylor ); in fact, in the UK, doctors do NOT have to save a pre-24 week baby legally. So these babies here are nothing short of that feat. Applause for the parents of such an emotional roller coaster!

Amazing! ^_^ The earliest a baby can be born is at 21 weeks gestation. This is when the Avioli are developing in the lungs which means the baby can have a fighting chance on surviving and can try to breathe on his/her own outside of the womb. Such a miracle - the complicated and unique forming of a baby! God is so amazing!

Cute little babies! Premature babies that survive are NOT dumb nor do a lot of them have medical problems. My twin sister and I were born at 27 weeks. 21 years later, we are loud, very intelligent women. She just gets on my nerves really bad.....lol. Your children are TOOO CUTE!

I often wonder why people watch these videos and then leave nasty insensitive comments which are completely uncalled for. Womens and Childrens Hospital where these twins were born is a Top Hospital. They have saved many micro-preemie miracles, like these blessed miracle twins. 1 of my best birth experiences, was at this Hospital, & the best treatment Ive gotten after having a baby in Hospital, was at this same Hospital. If I could have my 4th child due November 6th 2011, at Womens & Childrens Hospital. I would, but due to a history of 3 rapid births, my partner wants me to have my 4th at a closer Hospital.

Ahw...so happy they survived. It's rare but it still happens. I'll be 22 weeks myself tomorrow, but i do hope i last to the end ! I can't understand people going through the horror of an abortion (no i'm not a biblebasher,lol ) , especially when they are over 12 weeks.

@lilmzmonkey69 you just hang in there sweetie. 20 years ago i was 22 weeks and started bleeding really bad, I drove myself to the dr. they cheeked everything out the next thing i knew i was in an ambulance being rushed to the hosp. told if he is born now HE WILL DIE. over 10 weeks in the labor n deliv. i did exactly what the dr. said complete bed rest. with my feet about 6 inch above my head.i had 3 surgery cerclages. I hung in there for 10 wks born 8 weeks early, now 7'2" 289 lbs.still my babi

a friend of mine (TheFluffyblade) was born at 22 weeks as well and also had to stay in the hospital for 6 months. she had so many problems with her nerves, heart, and lungs. They said she wouldn't survive and look at her now. she still sort of gets panty when she runs alot though but other than that she is ok but a side effect from the treatment was her visual impairment.

This video is amazing.. I was just talking to my husband about premature babies and I was born at 22 and a half weeks back in 1987. I have some pretty bad medical problems now at 24, but not necessarly from being premature. and to the jackass that said premature babies come to be retarded. I was very advanced all through grade school.graduated with honors in H.S as valedictorian. and am a 3rd yr student in a private Medical School that i had to be accepted in to via exams. what've u done?

My son was 660 grams at 30 weeks pregnancy, at birth.They discovered i have breast cancer so i had a Caesarean. He is till in hospital. Exept for is colestase, he goes very well. He semm to be cranky, espacally wen he is hungry. Just love him!

GRATS! It was just a few years ago that the standard for survivability was 24 weeks. According to the registry of the world's tiniest babies, the record is 21 weeks, 6 days (Amillia Sonja Taylor ); in fact, in the UK, doctors do NOT have to save a pre-24 week baby legally. So these babies here are nothing short of that feat. Applause for the parents of such an emotional roller coaster!
