any bike under 300 is going to be crap. if its stock, you gotta spend 350-400 minimum for it to last. its an extra 100-150 now, but itl save you a crap load in the long run. any bike with at least a chrome front triangle, bars, and forks with sealed bearings everywhere will be good to start. just look at bikes and see what fits those specs

oops i meant chromolly my bad. and front triangle is the top tube and the down tube and headtube. in the desc. of bike it will say like: 100% chromo, full chromolly, chromoly front triangle, something like that. and bars are the handlebars
