Doesn't matter what version it is. They did a bad job reflecting the movie and basing on the most classic scenes from it. They should have saved this for PS3/360 or so so they could do a lot in those versions.

Otherwise, this looks horrible, the animations are choppy in most of the parts of this game it seems. Yes, I know, it's an old game. But, developers have made best with what they've had at the time, you can't deny that.

@deathspecter007 Actually the way they did things in this game. Either one could be thrown to the ground. If Neo was clearly superior in the fight, the cutscene reflected as such. Same as if Smith was dominating.

The Matrix 4: Re-Entered is not real. It's a rumor that's been floating around for quite a while.

All the different trailers you see for it are fan made.

So far, they are no plans for a 4th Matrix film, nor should there be. The series ended pretty well, even if there were still some unanswered questions.

@jib2182 First it was made before you even could handle a game and second I think they have done less graphics to run bigger maps and more npc's at once. Dam if you would place as much smiths in a "next gen game" with shiny graphics it would crash or lag hard. I rather have a big map with a lots of enemy's than a tiny closed off map with maximum 10 enemy's with "breathtaking" enemy's which you get used to anyway.

I'm pretty sure the reason why all the Smiths died at the end of the movie was because Neo was jacked into the Matrix by the source. And it was stated that when a program is no longer needed it returns to the source to get deleted. Once Smith assimilated Neo, Smith was connected to the source via Neo's link to the source. And by being connected to the source, he was deleted, along with all the other Smiths, because all the Smiths were linked together.

He could have jacked-in when everybody was asleep but this also makes no sense because somebody would have to, for lack of a better term, log him in.

I read that there was supposed to be a scene where Cypher writes a program that allows him to plug himself in. They only showed part of that scene, where Neo says something to Cypher, he is startled and quickly switches off all the screen around him. That's why he switched off the screens, because he didn't want Neo to know what he was doing.
