Sable is not being redesigned. The new Milan and Milan Hybrid are the last new Mercury models scheduled to ever be made.

This is not right. Mercury has a future and will be making small premium cars. The Milan and Mariner will be the largest Mercury vehicles and there is a new small Mercury (most likely a European model) in 2010.

The gas prices saved Mercury.... at least temporarily.
Mariner will likely be replaced by a smaller Euro crossover and they will get a rebadged Focus

The Mercury Sable is a fantastic sedan with great styling.
And come 2010 the Mercury Sable will be totally redesigned inside and out.
