If you win, then you win, if you lose then just except the defeat. The ZR1 isn't a bad car because if that was the case, the car wouldn't be produced. The Ford GT40 isn't a bad car either. But it is a limited production car.

Bottom line, it doesn't matter what cars are racing. You either cut out the shit talking and race, or go the fuck home!

The fact that it got an MPG rating in the low single digits is irrelevant. That's why the fitted it with an extremely large fuel tank, so it didn't even matter. Plus that car is now 40 years old. You can't compare it to any car today, not even the new GT

@MrBriggsie - Not necessarily. The reason it looks close at the beginning is because of traction problems. The driver of the Ford Gt has to ease into the gas so he can grab traction. He can't just floor it because he would just sit there and spin all day. If this was a roll race the Ford Gt would murder the ZR1. If the ZR1 has equal amounts of horsepower it would have the same issue with traction. If they both had 1100hp I promise you pretty equal cars.

Since the Corvette is lighter and not to mention the engine being in the front, the Corvette would have HORRIBLE traction problems. The Ford GT has the engine in the rear, putting more weight on the drive wheels, thus adding more traction for take-off. Ford GT would win.
