Das hat nun wirklich nichts mit der DDR zu tun, in der es auch noch Mecklenburger, Vorpommern, Brandenburger, Anhaltiner und Thüringer gab- die Dialekte lassen sich kaum zählen.

u do a good job with ur movies, to bad there is view movies on the german, finnish, and italian forces of ww2. stalingrad is the only movie i can think of. i hate movies like 'inglorious basterds' and stupid holywood crap, they alwasy portray our side as if they are the good guys and everyone else is evil. i love america, but not the crummy movie industry we have.

the uniforms are regular german army uniforms [ww2/ww1 era]. the waffen ss were the 'political' soldiers. Infact, the basica german army had little respect for waffen ss, and hated them. two big rivalries, after the war, the regular german troops told the russians and americans about the waffen ss. waffen ss were tough basterds, but mentally gone, and had the best technology at their disposal. the regular german army resented that though, and ss 'superiority' over them.

thats true, they also had all the new toys, where as the basic, regular german army didnt have as many luxeries. however, the waffen ss were the most feared, and hated, and respected. They were the political soldiers, they watched over the regular german army to make sure they did their job and wouldnt insite mutanies. They alwasy have programs on tv about the waffen ss on the military channel, especially on their equipment and how it affected modern warfare.

they arent politically incorrect, its the standard issue german army uniform from ww1 and ww2. the waffen ss, the black uniform plastered with swastikas is politically incorrect. they arent really the german army, the german army has taken so much flak in past decades, for things they didnt do and for politics they had nothing to do with politics, infact the majoirty of those who were against the nazis were regular german army, not waffen ss nazis.
