Most of their designs are based off of bugs. This is also obvious with the riders of kabuto. And also noticed in kamen rider shin.

@caveman5612 rykuki is from a dragon, den-o is a train, hibiki is an oni and I'm not sure what OOO is. Double probably is based on the letter W. Decade has a barcode motif too. But yeah you're right, they're mostly just bugs.
