  • MARAVILLOUS SOUND

  • wait so there is a manual crossfire srt-6? I forget where I read this but I remember hearing that they only made automatic obviously with overdrive

  • I had resonator and rear cats deleted and it is really loud over 2500 rpm;) It does drone past 70 mph but tolerable.

  • I can tell it's got a slightly lower tone I personally like it louder. I wish they came In a six speed manual that would be bad ass still nice car thou

  • @PeeWeee651

they do make 6 speed manual

  • @iHateNamesWithNumber

No there isnt a 6speed manual srt6, the manuals only came in the regular crossfires..

  • They need to make it able to fit the 5.5 LIter Amg kompressor engine with 510 horse that would make this car even more nasty then it already is so vote up if you agree!!!

  • @blazingraptors01 Actually if you bore out the cylinders and mod the crap out of it you can get close to 650hp out of it. I'm in the market for a car and I was stuck between this or an 07 mustang GT, and even though you can get a mustang gt engine to 850-900hp with a lot of work, the srt-6 is faster out of the box, so I don't feel pressured to mod it right away, haha.

  • Not much difference im afraid.

  • Imagine a crossfire supercharged V-8 lol that would be a nasty set of wheels!

  • @blazingraptors01 I know this comment is a year old...but just to let you know, they exist now. Thanks to Rudy at Accelerated Industries.

  • seems that it is the cats or possibly o2 sensor,i dont recommend running w/o cats because it will cause engine to run on open loop, trouble codes deminished power etc.take it to a shop or looked at by someone that knows before u start spending too much.

  • just remove mufflers not cats and drive it and see how u like the sound and then do something permanent.

  • i dont have any code showing up.. however.. when i get into it.. i can smell a rich smell in cab.. and sometimes the car begins to idle roughly.. when i first start it up.. it seems louder than normal.. could this be a bad cat?.. or a leaking exhaust?.. i been pricing cats, and exhaust .. and they are not cheap.. i dont have emissions in my county.. any suggestions? "can i put any ol exhaust on it?.. do i need cats?.. "

  • hmmm as long as no trouble codes come on there should be no worries.

  • same shit.

  • i am looking to do something with my exhaust.. i want it to sound tuned.. not stupid loud tho.. just tuned and clean.. however.. i thing i might have a minor problem now.. my car likes to idle really rough sometimes.. i think it is due to the cat.. but im no mechanic..

  • look at my comment maybe that will keep your worries to rest.

  • --Question--I just bought an '05 SRT-6 and was thinking about doing this as well. From the video it seems as if the interior resonance difference is minimal. IS THIS TRUE?? I made the mistake of making a custom exhaust for my Legend and it nearly vibrates me out of the car. It sounds great from the outside though.

  • If you are purposefully listening for it with the stereo off, you can definitely hear it. Otherwise, with music playing, I barely notice it. it is louder, but in no way would I consider it annoying or even close to 'vibrating.' I'm happy with it.

  • Thank you.

  • hey man how quick r those things?

  • stock: 0-60 is around 4.9 and the 1/4 in low to mid thirteens.

  • @srtav8r 1/4s can be high 12s of you have a lot of skill. I dont but, if you know a racing driver then he could probably do it.

  • sounds much better, but you need to lose the muffler.

gets rid of that tinny sound. the limited suffers the same problem from the stock exhaust.
