  • Even though the tempo may be slower then called for, I like this interpret ation the best. It lets the music speak for itself and you play it sooo musicaly. Brings tears to my eyes every time I listen! It was really awesome live btw. :) Well done.

  • This is absolutely wonderful!

As a string teacher and fiddler, this is just right. The intonation is impeccable and it sounds just like Barrage's recording. Congratulations on a job well done!

  • I think it was kind of slow in the beginning, but good job!

  • Where did you find the sheet music?

  • Well performed, and an excellent choice of music. This piece I was fortunate enough to see Barrage perform (original group) and it's been a favorite since.

The first commenter is entitled to an opinion...however I believe your group performed to the highest standards and captured the essence of the music which moves one to live the birth and journey of a mountain stream in all it's grace, turbulence, wonder and tranquility.

I would love to play as well as your team.

    Suzuki 2 student.

  • i think the whole fiddle style is a little lacking...

mountain spring is a song meant to be played by a "fiddle band" (as some guy from Detour calls it) and i'm getting a classical impression here.

no doubt that it's beautiful, i think you guys should have some more fiddle instruments in it.
