This horse is fantastic, I ride him regularly (I board at the farm where he lives). He is sweet and honest and even though he is huge, he doesn't throw his weight around. I love him!

My friend has a Zangersheide. They are top class horses.

The breed was made in 1992 by a really wealthy man who wanted his own breed.

Its really one of his stallions and a different breed.

No he's a Zangherside (don't know how to spell it) It is a type of warmblood bred at a pecial stud. Hence the Z at the end of its name :-)

Yes money does matter. But as i said, Don't aim for something that you know will be out of your reach! Zangershides arent cheap anyway. My horse cost £500! I work on a limited budget which is why i wouldn't even look at this horse if i didn't have at least £6000+ to play with!

im pretty sure the Z after a horses name means it is registered with the studbook "Zangershiede" not 100% sure tho :P its a german studbook, my horses dad is called Cascaletto St Ghyvan Z and he is a Zangershiede horse.

Thank you to everyone who posted nice comments about my horse. Incidentally, whether you believe it or not, and whether you ride at a GP barn or not, that IS actually a five foot jump. We built and measured all the standards ourselves so yes, it is 5'. He just is a very big horse and can make it look easy. Thank you again.

not to sound like a bitch but i hardly think thats 5ft 4ft, maybe even 4'3" or 4'6" yea but not 5...i work at a barn with a couple grand prix jumpers and they all have 17hh+ horses and so i know how high that is and that is NOT 5 ft and in no way am i saying shes a bad rider or anything cause your deff more skillful then me...im just saying...no offence intended
