This bike suffers from crappy X Fusion shock installed by Spec (bounces like a pogo stick). Had to replace mine with Fox Float RP2 - realy big improvement. I don't like the Tora as well. Currently I'm thinking about raplacing it with Fox 32.
@Jordenkl deore is cheap and kind of low quality. Xtr and xt are higher quality and shift far smoother, and are way more responsive then the deore. thats why pal, and just call the "absorber" a rear shock
Disc brakes are the best, especially hydraullic. V brakes are complete crap. Rode last weekend on a friends with V-brakes, holy donky balls, what pieces of $hit. :D
I riding this bike for jus 3 months, i been in 6 diferents parks around my area and it responds so well!!, the bike is actually really good for the price!!!, downhills, hills, drops, rocks, etc, the bike just work so well, the only thing i'm going to change is the fork, is good but the bike will work amazing with a fox talas 120mm!.
