  • also, is that still the HB lead you're using for the final pencil stage

  • Very cool.Do you draw like that for professional work too?

  • nice and cool

  • Awesome drawing!!! What kind of paper are you using there?

  • awesome! do you do tutorials?

  • What are you doing when you erase the preliminary sketch? Like the framework part I mean. Are you using a certain kind of eraser so you don't erase the whole thing or is it just a matter of lightly erasing to get rid of all the unwanted sketch lines?

  • Mix between adam west and tim burton

  • @shreddedbeats no it dose not look like adam west or tim burton

  • @TheAwesomeLink does*

  • @shreddedbeats have you seen adam west and tim burton hes drawing the 80's/90's batman

  • @TheAwesomeLink I know what the 80s/90s batman looks like, its just my opinion...you know, an opinion?

  • @shreddedbeats yes i know what an opinion is im not stupid no hard feelings

  • could you use any type of ink when you ink? If I use sharpie, do you think it'll run with the watercolor pencils?

  • @MrJellyconelly I think Sharpie is a non-water-based ink. Most likely it's alcohol-base ink. Yes, the ink will stay on your paper when a watercolor is used. :)

  • *EPIC* button?

  • hello , i like to draw a lot but if i practice can it get better or does it just stay the same like gods gift or something??

  • @miss1apple Hello there. If you practice a lot and believe you'll be better, I think you WILL BE BETTER...or the BEST. Just believe in yourself. Practice hard. :)

  • @nyekvideos what are you using to render the cape and the colors to make it smooth.

  • @k1ngdragon411 I used Faber-Castell Watercolor Pencils and Aqua-Flo to blend all the colors. :)

  • yeah!! That's some nice pictures drawing by hands! Great skills you got there!! Truly appropriate for everyday practicing as you were saying!

  • slow down

  • Jay Leno as Batman lol

  • wow! teach me please? but seriously, is that something you made yourself, or is it from another drawing?

  • @jonvegard31 All I can say is just watch and learn. I'm definitely sure this is my idea not copied, but coincidentally, there are other artists out there who have drawn something like this but not exactly. Unless it is copied from mine. :)

  • @nyekvideos cool. one last question: how long did it take for you to become this good?

  • @jonvegard31 Years.

  • What kind of pencil are you using at the beginning? What size lead?

  • @valem72 Mechanical pencil, 0.5mm with HB lead. The most common pencil you can buy.

  • Oh man that is so awesome!

  • One hundred forty five hours!

awesome batman best drawing of him I have ever seen. Did u go to some school to learn how to do that?

  • @TheRyan6003 Haha! Not 145 hours, it's 1:45 hrs; meaning 1 hr & 45 minutes. ;)

Anyway, I didn't go to any university of arts. This is just self-taught. I practice a lot, almost everyday.

    Thanks for commenting.

  • THAT IS AWESOME!!! Your work is the best thing ever! I am a beginner and i am still young so when i grow up i want to be a comic book artist. Do you have any tips that you could tell me?

  • love the detail in your work, you're a great artist

  • how do you do that!?!?!? Its's so cool how u start out. ive tried it before but it never works. how long did it take u to get that good?

  • You should do robin (Damian Wayne) too

  • Amazing :3

    Fav and liked <3

  • what kind of ink pen and watercolor pencils are you using?

    Great job by the way.

  • Wow

  • HOW DO YOU PUT MUSIC ON YOUR VIDEO?

  • @ipodtoucher15 I just drag an MP3 music to the video editor I'm using. :)

  • @nyekvideos which video editor??? and before or after you add it to youtube?

  • WOW!!!! I mean WOW!!! Your work is amazing 5/5! I'm a subscriber :D Can you draw Batman from The New Batman Adventures (animated series volume 4) in one of your next videos? I'm very curious how you'd draw such simplistic and streamlined shapes

  • @adix64 Oh, thank you. You mean the Bruce Timm style? Lemme see what I can do. It's not very simple to adapt his style for me. And I don't want to mess it up. I'll put that in the queue.

    Thanks for subscribing. :)

  • Can you draw Captain Marvel from DC next?

  • @Bane1979 Great idea. Sure. Thanks for

    that great suggestion. :)

  • also this could be a famous art cause it looks just like the cartoon when i was little

  • The guy who made this is an awsome artist

  • @coolomancp Yes. Bob Kane was an

    awesome artist. :)

  • ill take the yellow oval over bat nipples
