So if Xavi was so important back then he would've been able to do somthing but no, he was like a defensive midfielder. Deco and Dinho created so many plays. @ftlptba Yes, Ronaldinho did lose his motivation a lot after the World Cup 2006. But to forget how feared he was during 05/06 is an insult. EVERY team wanted him. His price at 26 years old was 100 million euros. Far greater than anyone else. OK look at how Messi played before 2007/2008. He played nothing like how he does now. Ronaldinho taught him to dribble more and make key decisions under pressure. Ronaldinho was his idol, even today Messi says hes the best. Also, Iniesta was a bench warmer.
