  • So if you have a heart attack and your heart stops for a moment do you stop being a human being? The heart, the liver, the lungs, the kidneys are nothing but organs the begining of their function has nothing to do with the rights of a woman to terminate her pregnancy within the first trimester. If a fetus is surgically removed from the womb without killing it, the fetus will not survive it is still not viable. So it does not matter if is a human it still needs the woman's consent to use her body.

  • @PALOMITA694 I agree with you that the heartbeat is irrelevant and that this bill is; therefore, ridiculous. However, I think that viability is an equally arbitrary place to draw the line. Viability is simply a characteristic held by an organism with organs developed enough to survive outside the womb. It also varies from one place and time to the next because some places have better technology. But if we are trying to determine whether the fetus is human-

  • @PALOMITA694 then there is no room for debate. It's a simple scientific fact, and if you are interested I'll send you page upon page of citations and quotations to demonstrate this. And while I would need your consent to use your body to sustain myself if my dependence upon you was the consequent of my action, if you did something that made me dependent upon you then you would have an obligation to sustain me.-

  • @PALOMITA694 If you create a situation such that, in order to exercise what would normally be a right, you must violate somebody else's right...you do not get to do so. If you're interested in hearing out honest, fair, secular prolife arguments and discussing the issue with me further, please stop by my channel.
