Just wondering if you have some kind of voltage regulation built in to prevent possible overcharging. Neat little project. I'm sure the wife was well pleased.
@mortalstorm Thanks for your comment. On this project there is no voltage regulation as the losses would seariously reduce the charging capability. I state this in one of the videos and it is a risk I run with this setup but in general you don't get the full 9 volts from the panel. Thanks for watching.
Hi ! I have a different question if You don't mind - what's the inner size of the PELICAN 1170 if You leave one foam block per each side to protect the device ? (what's the cavity size then) ? OR what's the 1 foam pluck size ? I hope You know what I mean ;) WOuld appreciate the info! THX!

@cubixthe Hi, the inner size is W 6 x L 10.5 x D 2 with no foam at all...just the plastic case.
The inner size of the foam cavity with all the foam blocks plucked is W 5 x L 9.5 x D 1.5. Each foam pluck block is 0.5 x 0.5 x 1.5 deep.
