His job was to order an ambulance the second he got the call, but was more concerned about having a more civil conversation, so it never got ordered.

@kimkrisrich when anyone calls the paramedics famous or not they respond the same way. they confirm the address to make sure they are going to the right house. the paramedics already left. as soon as you dial 911 and they pick up they are already leaving to where the call is coming from. he is not a cop but a paramedic dispatcher they have training to do what they do and they are to keep the caller calm. and help the caller. which is what he did. he showed no emotion to ensure that they are calm
@kimkrisrich We paramedics depend on the 911 personnel to do this. We need the information as they get it, so we are aware of what is going on at the scene. And phone instructed CPR has saved lives. We are already dispatched and enroute within seconds of answering the call at 911. So, be aware- the 911 operator who you seem to think is not doing his job right, is doing what he is supposed to be doing. And they dont send doctors. They send us.
This is so awful! I remember first seeing her in 8 Mile, I was amazed with her incandescent beauty! I still hate believing that she is no longer with us! Such a beautiful & talented woman. He was just doing his job, which is to instruct her for CPR. I don't know where you got that he was being annoying. When she didn't answer, he had to confirm that she was there, because she wasn't saying anything and he needs to be on the line until the paramedics arrive (which, by the way, are sent within seconds of the call).

I know the horrible feeling you get when something happens to your child and you don't know what. However, I was blessed, and with mine it turned out to be nothing, however she wasn't that lucky and I can't imagine the horror and agony this helpless mother had to go through watching her child, her everything.. slowly fade away. I send to her my deepest condolences for she has experienced such tradgedy which I could never imagine.

@kimkrisrich when anyone calls the paramedics famous or not they respond the same way. they confirm the address to make sure they are going to the right house. the paramedics already left. as soon as you dial 911 and they pick up they are already leaving to where the call is coming from. he is not a cop but a paramedic dispatcher they have training to do what they do and they are to keep the caller calm. and help the caller. which is what he did. he showed no emotion to ensure that they are calm

@kimkrisrich We paramedics depend on the 911 personnel to do this. We need the information as they get it, so we are aware of what is going on at the scene. And phone instructed CPR has saved lives. We are already dispatched and enroute within seconds of answering the call at 911. So, be aware- the 911 operator who you seem to think is not doing his job right, is doing what he is supposed to be doing. And they dont send doctors. They send us.

This is so awful! I remember first seeing her in 8 Mile, I was amazed with her incandescent beauty! I still hate believing that she is no longer with us! Such a beautiful & talented woman. My heart goes out to herself, Simon and her family. As for the medic, he was just doing his job, he dealt with the problem professionally and appropriately. We would all have liked the outcome to have been different, but unfortunately not. Such sweet angels thank you for blessing us with your presence!

There were no signs of mold affecting her at all, and there were never any inspections for mold of the house, so for someone who hadn't inspected the house, nor Brittany, to say that she died because of mold is ridiculous. To clarify, I don't mean you. I mean the person who started what turned out to be just a rumor.

@JulietsMan They are dispatching on the computer. that way you'l never hear on the 911 calls that they are dispatching units. Same way with the Police and Fire units too.
And that is the way it works mostly all over the world.

@4scream4residentevil paramedics are trained that what the guy on the phone is. he is not supposed to show compassion to ensure he doesnt freak them out more. they are to keep them calm. and right as soon as paramedics are called they are sent out to the address they dont wait untill they are done talking. they send them out as soon as they get the address confirmed.

And i never said that he waited till he was done talking to send an ambulance o.O Obviously one wasn't sent, because it wouldve been there already, and she stilll wouldve been alive, so end of discussion.

@4scream4residentevil Did you even listen to the whole thing? During the last minute or two of the phone call, she verbally states that the paramedics had arrived. He was just doing his job, which is to instruct her for CPR. I don't know where you got that he was being annoying. When she didn't answer, he had to confirm that she was there, because she wasn't saying anything and he needs to be on the line until the paramedics arrive (which, by the way, are sent within seconds of the call).
