I think you overextended in the beginning. You should have kept the Kizan in your hand, in case he Dark Hole'd or BRD. Would be an easy +1, and then you could get Brionac or Barkion next turn, with Grandmaster's effect.

The yu-gi-oh metagame has really changed, I don't know if I like it. I miss the days where my spellcaster deck had a fighting chance now it's all about a bunch of special summons and synchros. Makes me uninterested in getting back into the game =/

@ruin0 Actually, spellcasters have loads of new cards that can beat any deck, my own samurais have lost to them, you just need to look at what cards there is. I recomend using duelingnetwork,com to design and play wtih your deck
