I don't like his tone, is too thin, sometimes harsh, and the new evah pirazzi + his thin fingers (to pad) doesn't help. I wonder if the reason he later went to study with Aaron Rosand was to learn how to improve his tone and get that warm tone from Rosand. But I must also say that I did like his interpretation of this piece.

@abinader99 he doesn't use evah pirazzi... he uses dominant strings. and it's because of the quality of the video that the sound is not as rich as it should be.

OK, I'm 20, I play the violin, but this guy is just so incredible and so much better at it than me. He really did a great job at this piece which looks even more difficult than it sounds - that's amazing, he doesn't make it sounds like hell to your fingers and arms at all. But man, he has really long fingers, that might help.
