  • Sadly, I must admit. I owned a pair of those shorts. But I'd wear them again if it would bring back these cars!!!

  • Nice..nowadays most guys are to scared to drive them...not me You only live once..light them up and get that 2nd gear chirp..0-60 mph 4 seconds here I come

  • dude you can get a chirp in 3rd gear in a 383!

  • do you live in michigan? im from kalamazoo.

  • Yup, just outside of Detroit!

  • @OneBadSuperbird

Tom needs to learn more manners...

  • @dragpackdale Huh??? I think I missed something here.

  • like a dream!!!

  • CHRYSLER CORDOBA AT 0:24! Great cars. :)

    SUPERBIRD AT 0:25.

    All truly great cars!

  • yeah that was a cordoba, haven't seen those in a while

  • i want a cuda sooo bad

  • Great cars love these

  • Isn't it funny how even just a little over a decade old at the time, they were already classics?

You can't say that today about cars from 1996.

  • You're absolutely right! My Superbird was only 12 years old at that time and it was already an "old car". I can't imagine saying that about anything from 1997.

  • @smithjones4000

I was thinking the same thing right before I read your comment! There are no 1998's right now that are getting that kind of respect!

  • sweet cars

  • Sweeet cars, love the cudas and I am a chevy guy but even I can appreciate these beautiful pieces of machinary!!!

  • Wow, you really do have some brain activity going on ip there! Now if we could just get you to understand that a car with a 1:1 final drive ratio and a car with a .6:1 final drive ratio are going to have two totally different top speeds, we'd be all set!

  • great car, aar.

  • Awesome MoPars! The MoPar SuperBird was the very first car of any make to break the 200 MPH barrier on a closed racetrack in 1969! 201+!!

  • The AAR 'Cuda is, IMHO, the best of the breed. One of the most beautiful cars ever built(and this is coming from a Chevy guy) There was a kid I knew back in school, his dad had a yellow AAR, unrestored, sat up on jackstands in the garage until this kid's senior year. 2 weeks before graduation, his dad sez "here ya go", hands him the keys. To this day I'm still jealous as all hell.

  • almost as good as a mustang and a shelby gt 500

  • yea go check out amxgrillecam and see what happens to your horseys!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • o man, please dont utter such nasty words as ford,, mopar or no car,, looks and power..

  • Well, well, well, it looks like our little friend CrazyDriver111555 has managed to get himself kicked off of YouTube. It figures with the childish mentality that this person possessed, that he wasn't going to get along too well in society. Hopefully, this person can get their mental issues sorted out and perhaps someday be a useful member of society. I will leave this person's posts up for a couple days and then delete them due to the profanity as I would like to keep this family-friendly.

  • original 440 6 AAR CUDA

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh now you're trying to say they made AAR Cudas with 440 Six Packs? Ahhhhhh ha ha ha ha!!! Do you take stupid pills? I'll put another $10,000 on the FACT that there were no AAR Cudas with 440 Six Barrel engines. How old are you anyway? 12? I would suggest that you get a life, get a clue and learn how to respect people who know a LOT more than you do.

  • Yes they were only 340's, along wit the challenger T/A's

  • were they cheap back than, or the prices were looking like today's ?

  • If memory serves me correctly, you could get a really nice AAR Cuda for around $4,000 back then. I remember in around 1982 or 1983, I had a chance to buy an original Panther Pink AAR Cuda 4-speed needing a little bit of work for right around $2,500. I had a '67 Coronet for sale at the time and the Coronet sold the day after the AAR sold and I missed out on it. A quarter century later, I still kick myself over that one...

  • damnn that's cheap, An AAR Cuda in pink is very rare

  • I know, there was believed to be 27 Panther Pink Challenger T/A's built but I think some paperwork surfaced that showed that a lot more than 27 Pink T/A's were built. I remember reading somewhere roughly how many Pink AAR's were built but I can't remember that number now. You see a lot more Pink T/A's than Pink AAR's.

  • hey i was rite they did only make 350 1970 aar cudas with 340 6 packs

  • dude, i dont know who's feeding you your information but all AAR Cuda's are 340 6-paks and they made a total of 2,724 of them

  • not with 340 6 PACKS yes out of them all 2724 but ONLY 350 of them were 340 6 PACK

  • REPEAT AFTER ME...ALL 2,724 AAR Cudas were powered by the 340 Six Barrel powertrain. There was NO powertrain available besides the 340 Six Barrel. That is the end of the story. There are no ifs, ands or buts. I can tell that you are new to the Mopar hobby as it has been well known since AAR Cudas (and Challenger T/A's) were new.

  • U REPEAT AFTER ME DUM FUCK I seen the car with the 340 six barrel and its all matching number and original so FUCK OFF DUM ASS go to BFE u must be new

  • OK, 1 more childish outbreak & you will be blocked. The only 1 new here is obviously you. Your total lack of knowledge of Mopars is surpassed only by your childish stupidity. Here's the deal. You say there were 350 AAR Cudas built with the 340+6 engine. I have $10,000 that says there were a bit over 2,700 AAR's built, ALL with the 340+6 engine. Either you take the $10,000 bet or you leave with your tail between your legs. Put up or shut up. Either way, your profane post gets deleted.

  • After re-reading your stupidity and profanity filled post again, I really have to wonder just what point you're trying to make. First you claim there were only 350 AAR Cudas, then you admit that the 2,724 number is valid, and now you claim that you saw a car and it has matching numbers. Do you suffer from Attention Deficit Disorder? It really is time for you to get your ducks in a row. Keep in mind that ANY further profanity will get you blocked and ALL of your posts deleted.

  • ok..mabey for a certain color scheme but every AAR Cuda and Challenger T/A came with the 340 6 pack....find a new info source

  • I bought the Mopar A-Body and E-Body videos from Fivestarviseo last summer at a mopar drag in martin michigan. They are full of sweet cars, in fact my dads T/A Challenger is shown in the video about five times from the 80's. Sweet videos guys!!!

  • Hey thaat's way cool! Going through all the old school Mopar footage and putting those body style specific videos is a blast. I'm glad ya enjoyed them. Thanks for your business!

  • You should post the video of the black T/A doing the cone course....theres not much challenger T/A stuff on youtube

  • That's a great idea! I'm swamped right now with the 2008 Mopars At The Strip DVD editing. Do me a favor if you could and pick out which clip off the Challengers Volume 1 DVD I should use. I think there were two black T/A's there. One with stripes and one without. Let me know which one you think would be best. I'll get to it right after the Vegas DVD's are done. I have some other cool YouTube stuff I want to put together too. Thanks!!!

  • i think the one with the stripes that wipes out on the strait away...my dad knows the owner of that car...the other black challenger had the keystone classic wheels and an open rear-end(not quite as impressive) anyways thats my $.02

  • OK cool, I know just which clip you're talking about. As soon as I get done with the Las Vegas editing, I'll get right on it. Thanks!!!

  • where do u get these cars, man?

    there awesome

  • I've been attending Mopar events across the U.S. for the past 27 years. What I've posted on here isn't even a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of all the Mopar footage that I have from over the years.

  • theres only 13 1970 aar cudas left out of 350

  • WHAT?!? Where on earth did you come up with those insane numbers? There were, I believe, 2,300-2,400 AAR Cudas built and I'm SURE there's waaaaaaaay more than 13 left. I swear the internet sure brings out the "experts" who have NO clue what they're even talking about. LOL!!!

  • dude no theres not theres was only 350 made and 13 left i no my friends dad has one and Chrysler wants it back bad so u better look some shit up maybe ur the one who dont no what there TALKING ABOUT

  • LOL! That's too funny! How much money would you like to bet on that one? You're so far off on your production numbers that I'm still rolling on the floor laughing over here. Actually, I just went and looked up 1970 AAR Cuda production figures and YES, I was wrong! I said around 2,300-2,400 units were built when in reality, there were 2,724 1970 AAR Cudas were built. I suppose you're going to dispute that too?

  • ok the guy i got my info from was way off im rry u were rite but they still say chrysler wants it back from him its a nice car

  • wooo eeee aaarr God you mopar guys are geeks!

  • Don't tell me, lemme guess, you're either a Chevy Clown or a Ford Dork, right?

  • hey... chevy's good, but not in the same class as mopar. any real classic car fanatic appreciates any brand...

  • well certain parts of any brand not just any brand, as some chevy drivers are real cocky wannabe badasses that just arnt...

  • what i meant to say is everybody hasa favortie model in each brand, for me chevy is the camaro, plymouth is the cuda and my other faves are trans ams, challengers and Grand nationals. i just meant that a car fanatic doesnt hate a brand for no reason

  • oh yeah like im against chevy but i like chevelles, corvette and monte carlos but everything else is garbage in my opinion from chevy

  • ok dude. sorry if i offended you

  • didnt affend me i just said i think camaros are garbage there to popular

  • were geeks cuz u love cars that have real power

  • thank you lol

  • wow, people actually used to drive these cars? - now theyre more worried about correct markings on rear end covers and codes - n96 code tx9 code a12 code #'s matching whooooooooo, rotisserie...i wish somebody would put me on a rotisserie. great video.

  • Hell yes, Dodge is a car of my dreams. :)

  • Better than Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny Devito ... I love it !
