George Thorogood is a pussy who fired my father Hank Carter their previous saxophonist because he gained weight and was "unhealthy"... they told him to quit smoking by a date and to stop drinking and he did both which they did not expect but they fired him anyway for "tainting their image" so GEORGE THOROGOOD IS TRULY BAD TO THE BONE CUZ HE IS A VERY EVIL EVIL MAN WHO LEFT ME WITH A BROKEN HOME AS A RESULT... A PSYCHO MOM N DEPRESSED DAD N NO MONEY SCREW GEORGE THOROGOOD he ruined my family
From 3:05, i just wish he continued that Riff set up for another minute or so, he wrote it off way too early, its amazing ! should have kept playin it some more, nothing fancy, just slow hard edge power slide
I saw Thorogood around this time. He was a surpise band leading off for ZZ Top. Big mistake on ZZ Top's part. Thorogood left them with a worn out audience.
Hi thats really ironic because a long time ago around 1973,I saw Alice Cooper in New Haven Ct and a unknown band by the ZZ Top opened the show and blew Alice Coopers band away,Nobody wanted Them to stop
saw gary moore at leeds in april . he was RUBBISH. not talking to the fans falling out with the rest of the band telling the fans to fuck off not playing that well it was just a mess he as truned in to a twat . we paid £ 40 to see him what a wast
if you ever get the chance to see him in concert please dont think twice about it its worth every penny you pay and more ive seen him 4 times and will go every other time he comes around here and im only 20
while not regarded as a guitar god his style is powerful in its simplicity and attitude..he's sold millions of albums so i guess he's done something right...i had front row seats to one of his concerts and to this day best i've ever been to..george is true american rock
he totally a guitar god in my eyes....i have played for over 10 years and i have ALWAYS respected him...tone and style are just as important as just shredding...and hes got tone and style for miles!! oh and he can grind that ax too!
oh i respect him too..i've been playing myself 26yrs..for a few years in local bands fer (small) money..so i know what it takes to get up there and entertain etc...george has longevity and stayed true to his roots..that will never go out of style
One of my all-time favorite songs! Having had several children, I know that 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' actually did this one on their cartoon show back in the day ... Gotta say, it was pretty hilarious hearing Alvin sing the 2nd verse, hahaha! :) George T. rocks!
You greatly overexaggerated. Sure hes not as Technical or skilled as some other Legends, but you have to admit, His Rare , unique and Revolutionary 'fusion' of Hard Rock and Blues together in One Package was Brilliant ! His Playing style is Simple, but Powerful and very well Textured ! The Tone Hes playing with here is so grooved and Textured its utterly ridiculous ! Its fabulous guitar Playing
Listen to all his studio or Live Performances on either CD or Video. His Guitar NEVER EVER had such a mean angry Fuzzy tone as this 1 nite for this show. Sounds like a Mean chainsaw ! I dont know why but he never was able to duplicate this tone. This is the BEST most ferocious sounding Equipment G.T has ever used ! Listen to His other shows and notice the difference, it is Profound
