  • fuckin heroes right there!

  • thank god that the girl was in this family and why dont they put there cat in the house

  • that little girl save his fucking life she brave

  • Thank God that little boy survived ! This is such a touching story that can only bring tears to ones eyes !

The EMT'S did a great job , as always !

  • Sorry I meant to give a thumbs up but clicked on the worng one, Just to be cleare I am agreeing with you 110 %

  • i cried that story

  • i still think that lil boy's mom and grandma should've paid attention to what he's doing, if i had a son or a daughter i would pay attention to him or her, whatever i had to do, it'll have to wait.

  • I once drowned severla times when i was little . i can only remember 2 of them when a dog accidentally pushed me in when he was walking by and 2 i was walking and i tripped over the edge of the pool thaank god family members were there

  • i am so proud of that little girl!!

  • tears flowed from my eyes when I heard 4:41

  • After having called 911 with my own daughter not breathing and no heart beat several times I find it so hard to watch this video. Not sure why I even tried. How terribly sad. Even his own mother who was a nurse couldn't remember CPR in such a crisis. That poor family, and I feel so much for his mom. Glad they got a good outcome

  • why would you put him da pool agin at da end

  • To make sure he isn't scared of water for the rest of his life as he has no need to be.

  • This is one hell of a story! I like it.

  • aren't you suppose to use only one hand? cause the child is under eight?

  • i cracked my skull when i was 8 years old in thailand on a golf buggie, i fell down landing head first

  • just a reminder; when children start walking, keep an eye on them. there's no telling where they'll go.

  • well said!

  • I Think That Kid's Mom and Grandma Should've Paid Attention To What He's Doing.

  • i almost drowned in a lake i was like 5 yrs old i was jumping up and down yelling help help my mother looked at me and was like OH MY GOD she went running into the water and saved me.

  • Oh I hate when I click on part 2 and then I am just like this is not the begining

  • i think the sister is the real hero. she got no noterity. but the important thing is the little boy is alive and well.

  • I know, she is the hero, but I think they were more worried about the boy at the time.

  • Wow thank Goodness the lil girl found him and dived in the water to get him out in time!

  • o i fell in the pool when i was a toddler too my mom saved me XD !

  • in america do they have paramedics in the firebrigde?

  • That's a brave two-year old. When I was two, I wouldn't even sit on the stairs in the pool unless my mom was with me or something. Yet this kid is jumping off diving boards and all that. He's so strong, no wonder he lived :D

  • wHY WHY WILLIAM SHATNER WHY MUST YOU DEPRESS US WITH SAD STORIES

  • I jumped into a pool when I was two

  • weird when some one drowns the cops are the first ones there. but when you get in a car accident the fire man are the first ones there

  • Not necessarily. Usually with an autombile accident, it's because grown adults were being stupid in some way (face it, speeding is dumb!) but when there's an accident involving a child, they typically have to investigate how the child got in the situation where he/she got into an accident. EX.... negligent parenting, or abuse.

  • I guess the cops show up first to some emerencies becuase cops are already in the field and may be closer to the scene. Firetrucks or ambulances may take longer to get there if they have to leave from a station.

  • its lucky the little girl found him when she did

  • cue the synthesizers! that means they lived.

  • when my little sister was 8 months old,

    she started choking on something.

my mom was a nurse, and panicked and couldn't remember cpr.

i tried calling 911, but i couldnt remember our address, and i just lost it.

the worst moment of my entire life.

  • :) i am happy he survived :) with no injury :)

  • Very happy for him.

  • Such a cute kid.

  • One time i was on the sea and i was on my dingy and dad was with me (i was 8-9 i think)

Then this wave came along and swept me underwater, i got scared and got out and ran to my mother crying on the beach, lol that was a good memory.

  • O-O

  • what a cute kid

  • how can she forget CPR

  • amb-e-ence

    how cute

    lol

  • stuff like this makes me so glad we have the technology we have today with pool sensors and all

  • Haha, that hospital used to be my second home when I lived in Denver.

  • When i was like 5 i stayed under water for a while and i was deep and had no air. I raced to the top and nearly drowned. I couldnt possibly hold much air when i was that deep. i swam up as fast as i could. I opened my mouth to breath right before i hit the air and just about drowned

  • one time when I was younger I was on a raft in a pool when a yellow jacket landed on me. So I freaked and fell in but I was wearing heavy clothes and shoes. I could hardly swim so I yelled for my mom and she came out and laughed at me. I'd laugh too, I love my bitch of a mom. lol

  • If they do it's an above ground pool

  • Between The Nipples.

  • did he live or no

  • i think u shuda neva buy a house with a swimmin pool with a child that cant swim until u no that it has a fence around it or is covered with a protecter sheet! and i think they shudda said thank you sumwhere in that to the little girl for saving him !

  • Aww it wasn't the mother's fault, she tried to watch the kids and she checked the pool first before anywhere else.

  • i think it should become a law that when you plan on purchasing a house with a pool you have to be certified in CPR.

  • She knew CPR, she just forgot it.

  • Talk about a miraculous story! What was the theme of that night's episode?

  • It wasn't a themed episode.

  • Then what was that all about when Shatner would say, "I'm William Shatner. Tonight, true stories of life and death battles and races against time, on Rescue 911." Or, "Tonight, true stories of daring attempts to change the course of events, on Rescue 911." What I meant was what was the category of the segments of episode 414? Not what was the theme of that particular segment.

  • when did this get uploaded, i thought i saw all ur res911 vids

  • Last year.

  • Kristen seems like someone that would be fun to sit next to on a plane. I don't know why you didn't break into Hollywood after this; there's no justice in this world.

K: Send me an email. Do a search for Vanderbilt Center for Evaluation and Program Improvement and look through the staff photos, you'll find me.

  • good girl you are is hero you saved his life your going to have a great story to tell that little boy

  • how could you let a 2 year old baby out of the same room with you????? i hear about theese accidents with little ones ,,that really could be pervented

  • i agree

  • O my gosh that is realy scary!!

  • It seems like you changed all your titles...

  • Yeah, I found a bunch of titles, and I figured it would be easier for people to find segmetns that way than listing them as "Segment 4" or whatever.

  • thank god hes survived

  • This segment should be called "Moving day drowning" not "Two-year-old pool save" because Steven had fallen into the family pool while they were moving into their new home.

  • I have this segement on tape only it's from a 30 minute syndication episode.

  • go to tvshowsondvd, com and vote on rescue 911 to come out on dvd, rescue 911 has 433 votes to come out on dvd

  • When I was 9 months old I was real sick and my mom was shaking me trying to wake me up

  • i hate pools!

  • was he don

  • Good Example of Emergency Medical Dispatch. But I never leave CPR to Police Officers. They either refuse to provide care to the patient or they will forget. I don't let the caller disconnect until there is an EMT or EMT-P (Paramedic) with the patient. A cops idea of Medical Aid is kicking the patient and saying "You are going to be fine"

  • good job

  • lol indy yeah i kinda agree. but they go every 2 yrs 4 recertififcation of cpr i think.

  • Just think that about 800 people lose their lives each year because LIFEGUARDS forget how to do CPR...

  • How funny is he on the diving board??? Lol

  • just watched this videos makes me think since i am a father myself that i have to say that kids are very fast there in your site one second next there gone its hard to keep your eyes on them all the time 24/7 i know what outher ppl might say but you just never think this would happen. btw thank for all the old 911 epsoides you rock i would watch this show when it was first on. keep up the great work.

  • i once saw one where a kid was drowning near one of those pipe things, like in a creek or pond, and he was holding on for dear life not to slip under. is that one on here?

  • I haven't uploaded it, but I know which one you're talking about. That one was from Episode 618. The boy and his friend were walking in a flooded ditch after a rainstorm and one of them got swept off his feet. His friend grabbed him and kept him from getting sucked into the pipe.

  • yeah, great episode! Scared the Crap out of me because I was that age (or around their age) when it aired.

  • Also, when the kid is on the diving board, it is sooo funny

  • allgood, you are THE BEST!

  • silly people, why do they keep leaving toddlers free in such dangerous places?

  • He may well have had brain damage. But when you're 2, your brain is better able to adapt to lost tissue than older individuals.

  • I am wonderg...Do you have this one where this kid swallows a board game piece and is unable to get it out?
