junk if there is any memorys with the song hyptonize by notorious b.i.g than please do a video or any public enemy songs thatd be great love to see them and a great song to start off a new segment
I wish some people would just shut up and appreciate that everybody has their own taste - every music requires some form of talent to produce all these different sounds, lyrics and beats. Whether you like Elvis, The Beatles, Skrillex, Moby, Savage Garden or Korn, learn to appreciate all the other styles. Hey, I love house, trance, dubstep and such, but I also love hearing the old rumbling riffs of Led Zeppelin, the swing of old Blues, and the snappy solos of Jimi Hendrix. just be at peace.
I like how on any video that has to do with music starts a huge flame war because some people like different music. there is no such thing as REAL music because any type of music can be real to someone. For example if someone likes pop and someone else likes rap, they don't have to fight over which genre is garbage or worse because to them that is "real" music. The music industry is like the world because its diverse just like music. Music is diversity
@Zairne well i hate people like you who say people who like older music are stupid because i mean you can listen to what you like and everyone else should be able to listen to whatever they want to.
@3152222 I love how you completely misread what I said and took it in the completely wrong context. I didn't say "If you listen to old music you are stupid". I said "If your a young kid who brags about listening to old music for attention and to try to make yourself look smarter, you are stupid", stupid.
Im 17 years old now and there is this one song by Uncle Kracker called Follow me and I used to listen to it with my cousins in my grandma's car, we were pretty young probably about 5 or 6 and it brings back thoes memories of when we used to play together over at our grandmothers house. They moved to florida and we grew apart since and it just puts a smile on my face whenever i hear that song.
I'm 14 and on my first date, it was a school dance, one song came on and i can't remember the name but that when i hear that songs tune it always reminds me of that moment
Watched Toy Story 3 this summer and "You got a Friend in me" came on. Teared up. I have NEVER teared up in a movie until that moment. Goddamn childhood being gone and whatnot.
If I hear Grade 9 by The Barenaked Ladies i get memories of running around the house dancing to the music being only like 6 years old...
This song bring back so many memories and i''m merely 15. My life has been under stress pretty much since the start of middle school. And the only song that can take me away from all that is this song. Coming up to high school, I forgot about this song. Forgetting also that high school will put me under more stress... Finals are in school and I have screwed up so many thing in the past year. I makes me happy to hear this song again... Thank you, junk.
I don't have a story to this song, but I remember being 16, chilling in my room with my best friend, and trying to learn how to play Creed and Aerosmith songs on guitar, then going out and shooting each other with airsoft guns in the desert ... xD Great times, great times...
This album was the only cassette tape we had on the way to the beach when I was young, probably seven or eight. It's a song that always sparks great childhood memories.
Even though I'm into alot of punk and rock and like some of the classics. I love Creedence Clearwater Revival and the Beach Boys lol. As for Summer of 69 I quite like it but a band I like did a cover of it and I like that a little bit more :)
@Voodooenglishman i used to think that 60z and 70s music was the best and all other music was lesser in quality, but it really is not the best music. To be fair there have been more combinations of notes and chords that sound great that were not around back then. Also electronic music is great and takes twice the skill to make as apposed to rock or any other genre and also STFU you eliteist fuckhead
What you just said was really hypocritical. I've done both electronic and 'rock' music, both the synthesiser and guitar take skill - just in different ways. He's 14, everybody hits the old school 'rock' phase.
@KnnightGUY11 actually you could have just gone to his channel when he started and you wouldve seen his name this is not the first he mentioned his name in a video.
I am 14 and my idols are pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin,Cream,Eric Clapton,Jimi Hendrix,The Beatles,Syd Barrett and The who. People make fun of me and call me a hippy and to move on with the times and to stop tripping on acid. I don't expect anybody else my age to know what real music is so I just Deal with their minds that can't except that their music is computer processed garbage.
@voodooenglishman Im just the same but im 13 and listen to all those and bon jovi, twisted sister and other 70-80s singers ^.^ Its because of my father ^.^ And i cant say i dont like it ^.^
@voodooenglishman open your eyes, you douche. I'm not saying those bands are bad, but there's tons of cool music coming out this moment, you're just too damn lazy to look around for it. Also not all computer processed music is garbage, I'd tell you to go listen to Radiohead - kid A (yes the album, single songs are for plebs), but it would probably be 2deep4u.
Also Godspeed You! Black Emperor, or the entire post-rock scene for that matter. But for now, just go continue listening to your dad-rock.
that's really cool man, don't let anybody tell you what kind of music is the best music. Junk I think this was a great idea for a video, very original and very nice :D I also have lots of memories, not as much as you since I'm 19. Whenever I heard this shania twain song on the radio called "gonna getcha good" I remember when I was about 12 years old driving to New Brunswick in Canada at a hotel and we were all having fun with that song on the tv. I don't know why stuck but it did and I always thought that those trips were very fun with my family. So thanks for the video and memory.
That was a damn good song. Music back from before i was born was a lot better than nowadays. Sure, there are some good people now, and a lot that arn't good, but there were better people back then.
Hello corkeys13 I have made my first YouTube video and I need your help the you tuber so pleas wash my video and tell me what you what to do games wise and the video thank you for your time
This song gets played a lot on the radios in the UK. Those ones that don't play mainstream music anyway...
I remember hearing it in the car going to the beach when I was younger. I'm only 18 now but I heard a lot of Bryan Adams music, Bon Jovi and that sort of thing when I was younger.
im 17, i already knew this song and liked it, and i still like it, the only memory i have of it is my parents danceing to it xD now thats a funny memory
@sdstig yeah, nowadays you don't even have to know how to know how to play an instrument, you don't even have to sing good cause they can modify it all with computers. i hate it!
Oh wow, I remember my parents listening to this in the car when I was 5-6ish (I'm 18 now) and I didn't know what it was called, I remember singing it in the car but I had no idea what it was. I hope you do more of these, thanks for the song. ^_^
This was the first song I ever learned to play on the guitar. Thanks for bringing back these memories. Please do more of these. I'd love to hear the stories about your brother. He seemed like a fantastic person.
This brings back so many memories of my mom. She loved this song while she was still here. Great music will always be great and live on forever no matter the generation. Keep this up Junkyard, was a great trip through memory lane for me at least.

That was a damn good song. Music back from before i was born was a lot better than nowadays. Sure, there are some good people now, and a lot that arn't good, but there were better people back then.

I miss that easy listening music...
