  • I went there, they showed a film and it was interesting..... There were lots of fish in the ship

  • shouldnt anyone get rid of the oil i know its a tomb for over 1,000 sailors but am pretty sure its also a tomb for some fish too

remove the oil fish dont like it D:f

(and i dont give a fuck if you say their just fish)

  • R.I.P Americans who lost their lives, and the Americans who had lost their family because of that

  • It belongs to the fishes now :(

  • Retired MCPO. Once attended a relistment ceremony here for 5 sailors in 1997. A Sunday morning at sunrise, long before all the tourists arrived. One young 3rd Class Petty Officer with tears in his eyes (must have been no older than 19) turned to me and said " They are not gone. They are still keeping watch on these decks". I will never, never forget that.....

  • Horrible horrible choice of song...

  • Such cheerful song for a sad moment.

  • I lived on Oahu for 10 beautiful years and had two beautiful daughters there. I have been to Pear Harbor many times and it is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit. It is sad because we all know what happened there over 60 years ago. To me It showed me of how evil the human race is. Is really sad that this happened and many decades later the tragedy of 9/11. WOW! Who would have ever guessed this same tragedy would occur YET again. GOD BLESS THE MANY VICTIMS AND HEROES. ALOHA....

  • USA lost the Arizona, Germany lost the Bismarck and Tirpitz, Japan lost the Yamato, GB lost the Hood. These ships and many others were lost on any side and many seaman died or their country. They all thought they do the right thing and they served their country and died for it. No matter what Nationality they had, each one who died for his country is a hero in my opinion. The war is over and there is no space for racist comments full of hatred thoughts. Greetings from Germany.

  • Скажите пожалуйста те корабли которые утонули в время нападении Японии на Перл Харбор в 1941 их вытащили с дна ?

  • @mioritsa ok i know what you said but what do you mean by " Dragged them from the bottom?

  • @USSWISCONSIN64 Утонувшие корабли вытащили с дна? Sunken ships out of the water?

  • @mioritsa oh. didn't know what you meant by. :) thanks.

  • Вы не поняли вой вопрос?

  • @USSWISCONSIN64 Вы не поняли мой вопрос?

  • damn... is that thing still leaking oil???? jezz...

  • It's shameful that this war was fought in the first place. But I find it even more shameful that there are some VERY racist comments on this video. I'm pretty sure MOST Japanese/Germans are VERY ashamed of and sorry for what they did during WWII. And if were of Japanese decent, I WOULD ACTUALLY find comments like "only a fucking jap would dislike this vid" or "I'm glad we dropped the a-bomb on Japan" VERY offensive

  • FDR was responsible for the ARIZONA! Pearl Harbor was NOT a surprise attack, a result of US intel failure NOR a brilliant Jap plan...FDR KNEW about it beforehand and actually PUSHED the Japs to attack - Robert Stinnett's book DAY OF DECEIT, THE TRUTH ABOUT FDR AND PEARL HARBOR. The American public was fooled again and made to pay so that US military industrialists could get richer. 9/11 was the same thing. How stupid can you people be! US govt is just using you poor idiots!

  • 6 people deserve cruel and unimaginable torture.

  • @ahahah63 make it more like 8 people.. you can tell that those people are not American.. they should be shot!!

  • It's sad when you go there. When you see the oil drops come up to the surface, it's like it's the tears of the ship. Very moving.

  • -You'all don't think it was just an accident that we had non-panning 'film-rolling' (-to anger Americans) of the supposed 'direct Jap-bomb into Turret-magazine hit' do you? Some experts say an explosive-charge was actually a jewZionist timer/implanted-sabotage much like what was done to the Hindenburg by the jewZionist a bit earlier! The fanatic Zionists never care about collateral-loss of non-jew lives, -for according to the Talmud, -that's just part of their on-going scheme against non-Jews!!

  • @AryanKnight Oh shut the hell up you deluded troll.

  • there are still bodies in the arizona of fallen soldiers so sad

  • out of service but never forgotten

  • ONLY the Japanese dislike this video

  • R.I.P all of the people who died during pearl harbor including my great uncle jack

  • @Masonlacrosse1 including all. This is sad. :(

  • Great video. Very nice.

  • my great grandfarther was captured by the japs and tourterd, its a good thing they lost the war

  • gooks shouldnt be allowed in the regardless of the law. those slanty eyed little cunts did this they should all die

  • my great granfather was on it he is still alve

  • God bless em all.

  • Remember Pearl Harbor and the sailors and marines who are entombed in the USS Arizona, God Rest Their Souls.

  • It's good to know that the No.2 turret on the Arizona was used tg bombard Iwoj jima

and okinawa on the USS nevada, a surviving battleship of pearl harbor

  • I went there once and these Japanese tourists were there and some guy started punching them in the faces. Screaming "You Japs did this! You deserve do die!"

  • the music is so disrespectful... to happy, this is a memorial, the grave of over 1000 men... :( i went to the memorial TODAY!! this is just... it dose not sit well with me... to be there and see the oil droplets floating in the water... the survivors call them "black tears" as if the ship weeps still... 69 years later... this is a somber place you cant take footage of it and add happy music and make a mockery of there death... thats like putting tom and jerry music to the diary of Anne Frank !

  • do you get there by a boat?!

  • My dear friend Shari took me to see the memorial. I worked for Delta Airlines and I flew out to visit from Indian for a few days in 2005. I could not believe, but my camara battery died just as we got to the memorial. I don't have any pictures, but I am sure glad that I got to visit. I believe I have a relitive that was on the Ariziona, whose name is on the wall.

  • eerie. It's on the bucket list now.

  • i would like to visit this memorial someday. it would have a special meaning to me. i have lived in Arizona my whole life. that was our ship! :..( may they all rest in eternal peace.

  • my only dream is too take a trip to see this

  • In 1961 Elvis Presley performed a benefit concert in Hawaii to raise money for the Arizona Memorial Fund. He was, at the time, the highest single benefactor to the fund.

  • Remember Pearl Harbor!!!!!!

  • Thanks for posting. I reenlisted on the USS AZ Memorial back in 06 April 2000. There was other U.S. soldiers, Marines, sailors, and airmen that day as well. Also witnessing our reenlistments was a fomer WWII POW group.

  • a reall serene place to visit to respect the heros of ww2.. but my problem was that Elvis presley in 1960 did e benifit concert to help raise the rest of the money need'ed to fund the memorial building, the then gomerment didnt bother, yet a plack in the 1960's thanked elvis... since then its been removed and Elvis has not been acknowledge'd for it... shame on those who removed the plaque...

elvis even gave a big sum of money from his own account . what a stab in the back that was.

  • there is over 1000 sailers/marines intombed in the Arizona. God Bless them all.

  • sergantsniper god bless ur grandpas soul and god bless everybodys soul but the japs souls that died at pearl harbor

  • i will never forget uss arizona and all those people who died and all MAY YE REST IN PEACE

  • Remember the USS Liberty

Pearl Harbor was not a surprise attack. Look it up. google: mother of all conspiracies

  • i have a home in Hawaii and this memorial is the one memorial i LOVE going to. =) but it gets me mad when we're in school talking bout things like this and people dying and dumb asses have the nerve to make stupid comments. i mean come on grow up

  • December 7, 1941 will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace to all that died that day. I've been to Pearl Harbor back in March of 2007 I still remember it.

  • such cheerful music for such a depressing site

  • One of the most memorable places I ever visited was the memorial of the USS Arizona in Hawaii. It was a very quiet place during the visit. Gave you such a feeling of loss of loved ones. And the most touching thing I ever witnessed was Japanese people in tears right along with us American. Gave me the real sense of how 2 peoples were really just one. I myself will never look at another person from another country as a threat but an opportunity to befriend him.

  • Sometimes your viewpoint is correct, sometimes that other person is attacking under orders to kill you. Your attempt to befriend them will result in their victory. Remember Pearl Harbor.

  • I can't imagine what it must have been like here, or anywhere on any ship during the war, to drown for the sake of fighting against an idiot with a daft moustache!

  • my great grandpa was on the arizona on that day may he rest in peace <[

  • @sergantsnipesalot R.I.P AND GOOD BLESS YOU,IM ARGENTINA.SORRY MY ENGLISH.

  • @sergantsnipesalot youre great grandpa is fine man us navy may rest in peace

  • at nighttime i have heard if you are near the arizona memorial,

you can hear the ghosts of the sailors moaning under the water ..... waiting to get revenge on the japanese

and their ghostly wails continue into the dawn.

  • @sergantsnipesalot im not te US guy but i hope ur grandpa rest in peace.

  • @sergantsnipesalot You're vote ups are currently equal to the Arizona's BB-39 number. Eerie.

  • @sergantsnipesalot Im sure he did all he could to protect our country.

  • Good old Elvis helped pay for the memorial

  • wow r.i.p!!!

  • Im going to a field trip there

  • wow, thanks for jap naval airmen's marksmanship, a WMD was removed from US naval arsenal.

oops, forgot to mention those 1177 dead men, sorry, collateral damage. RIP.

  • I Also Believe some of the Vets That Did Survive. That Horrible Bombing on that ship. Some of them passed on over the years and some people asked where they wanted to be buried With there Friends that Died in the Arizona. Kinda don't know how that works but brought a tears to my eyes.

  • I lived at Hickam for a 3 solid years and went to see the Memorial when you go across the White Bridge and look below it gives you goosebumps all over your body. You can even see the Oil from it just floating A very breath taking experience, bored. And Ventilla yes there are sailors bodies still in the Arizona ship some guys just did not make it out in time and ended up drowning

  • I want to go.... WW 2 is the most interresting part of history for me... i would like to learn more about pearl harbor...

  • are the bodies of the sailors still inside the ship?

  • Yeah, but their all decade.... >..>

  • @pinkyoshie There is a very good book by Walter Lord called " Day of Infamy ". Read it, I think you find it interesting.

  • @baileytexan Walter Lord also authored, "A Night to Remember"... based on the sinking of the R.M.S. Titanic! I was lucky enough to have met him in person while he was alive. To this day, I have a signed copy of his Titanic account in my Titanic collection!

  • Terrific video.

  • rest in peace arizona

    you will never be forgotten

  • Nice video, thanks.

I can't wait to visit there myself and pay my respects to the lost.

  • Nice place....respect for all these people
