The documentary exposes Segovia as someone who never wanted to help promote Barrios, in fact Barrios' disciples comment how Segovia was very
arrogant and demeaned Barrios' legacy and works. Segovia lived to modern
times (1893-1987), another 43 years after Barrios' death (1944), yet he still asked his students not to perform Barrios' music. These are words told by Alirio Diaz, Richard Stover, Sharon Isbin, Cesar Amaro, Abel Carlevaro, among others. Segovia turns out being a type of Salieri.
I wish I could understand what they are saying!!!! Could someone tell me what the documentary has to say about segovia and why he never played Barrios' works??

With one hand Segovia loved to point and wave his finger
in people's faces, he knew more than you, no matter the subject.
In the other hand, his cane with silver knob, or a tobacco pipe -
Segovia the king, the intellectual, the number one guitar guy not
to be questioned. What was he hiding?
