Segovia no compuso, nada, que yo sepa. Es pura envidia y nada mas, lo que tenia, que un indio como Barrios fuera un músico de esa envergadura.

Pero el no sabia que el alma paraguaya se compone de música y nada mas que música!

Segovia is a great guitarist but Agustin Barrios is greater, he will live forever

The documentary exposes Segovia as someone who never wanted to help promote Barrios, in fact Barrios' disciples comment how Segovia was very

arrogant and demeaned Barrios' legacy and works. Segovia lived to modern

times (1893-1987), another 43 years after Barrios' death (1944), yet he still asked his students not to perform Barrios' music. These are words told by Alirio Diaz, Richard Stover, Sharon Isbin, Cesar Amaro, Abel Carlevaro, among others. Segovia turns out being a type of Salieri.
