  • It's called Diamagnetic Levitation, you can do this experiment with two magnets and a thick piece of aluminum.

  • What is the second experiment you talked about called? Is it possible to do that at home with two magnets, or would you need really precise instruments?

  • your theory is merely part of a larger theory

  • For a whole series of repeatable experiments, to prove to yourself that this theory is true, read; "Magnetic Current" by Edward Leedskalnin. What if corporate funded MIT was wrong about this?...Would you still be a smart person if you graduated from MIT? Yes. If you then saw the truth and chose to ignore it, would you still be a smart person?...No!

  • A suggestion: if you actually want to learn something about electricity and magnetism, YouTube has a section in the education channels page called YouTube EDU, which contains videos and even complete courses from accredited universities. A good place to start might be MIT's 8.02 course, Electricity and Magnetism. Just a hint :)
