This was the 1st Jackie Chan movie I ever saw. It had to have been around '83 or '84 when I saw this.
Project A 1&2, My Lucky Stars 1&2, Miracles, Meals on Wheels, Police Story, Dragon Lord, New Fist of Fury, Snake in the Eagles Shadow are some good Jackie Chan classics as well.
Interesting looking movie! I'll have to pick this one up. My favorite fight scenes involving Jackie Chan include when he battled some crazy looking Amazons in "Armor of God", his brief fight in "CanonBall Run", and the explosive action in the first "Police Story".
If those are you favorite fights you should check out the finale of Wheels On Meals with Benny Urquidez as well as the final fight on Project A together with Yuen ans Sammo against the pirate boss "Sam Po". Those are way better. Especially the Canonball crap was a big mistake in his career he regretted more than once (stated in interviews). And the finale of Dragon Lord is also much more interesting. Think you missed a lot of good fights.I agree about Police Story. One of his best movies.
Thanks for the insight! The only other movies with Jackie Chan in them that I have seen (apart from the ones discussed) are Fantasy Mission Force, Double (or Twin?) Dragons, the Rush Hour movies, and the Tuxedo. Jet-Li is my favorite because of "Fist of Legend". And of course, Bruce Lee is my ALL time favorite because of all of his movies! I also really like Samo Hung. I've been searching for a movie of his called Pantyhose Heroe (or perhaps Killer). Will check out the ones you mentioned 4 sure!
Pantyhose Hero is available on YouTube if you search for Pantyhouse Hero.
The film was co-written and directed by Wong Jing but Sammo took credit like he did on Moon Warriors (which had two directors doing the non-action parts).
I remember the last fight goes for like 1/2 an hour!

The fights in Drunken Master 2 and the 3-way fights in Dragons Forver are also breathtaking.
