Thank you Sarah, but I'm afraid that Gauguin is a much better painter than you are. Your rendition of the stream (or at least the bit that I caught at the finish) was quite frankly, terrible. Though you have your reservations about Gauguin the person and the paintings, you should really look a bit closer at them and learn something about the imagination and about taking risks with your composition before broadcasting such a breezy dismissal and following up with such a dismal end. Thanks.
