I watched the Memorial Service for 3 hours straiqht.
When it reached to the last part where Paris speaks, I was stunned.
An 11- year old qirl can brinq so much emotion in her short speech.

Allow me to take a moment to confess and apologize. When I was a teenager, (mid '90s), I was pretty quick to crack a Michael Jackson joke. Shame it took his death for me to remember why I was in such awe and admiration of him as a child.

I hope the press do respect MJ's children's privacy, they are all too young lose a father.
I hope the children had enough time with him to hold it together over the coming years and not go off the rails.
Very brave of her to make this tribute, especially since she has always (sensibly) been kept out of the public eye.
I also hope there is not a sick custody battle over the children. The children should be put first in every way in a situation like this.

Well said! Only love have such power to move to the world. Death always comes to all who lived but Michael has not lived in vain. I have never seen him in person and so to me, he has never died as he is still very much alive in all the music he has created. In my heart, he is forever happily dancing away and will keep astonishing us with the art, that was him.

those poor babies. this made me cry. first and foremost, he was a human, a father, before an entertainer, and was accused of so much that was proven unfounded by many. he represents all fathers who have been taken from their children too soon, and all people who are innocent who have been accused of terrible things. his children's tears are proof of the gret love between them, and what a good father he was, and it's sad to see them in pain. may their family comfort them/let them grieve as needed
