This car is just copying the Hulme made in my country of New Zealand and it also features a chevy V8 in it. Jezz this car is a piece of shit compared to the Hulme.
Love the comment about the Barabus that's a joke. The company was bought out by Keating and they scrapped the original engine layout and went with their own version of a GM 427 tt dohc 4vpc. And so far it hasn't come close to it's suggested numbers so there's another horse and pony show like the Dagger. Sad thing is the the Caparo prefers straight lines to corners. If it doesn't handle what good is it. Even with it's acceleration I would bet even money the V8 Atom would beat it on a track.
@blainyrules I don't think F1 had 3.5 turbos. The only thing allowed were 3.5 NA or 1.5 turbo-ed. Of course everyone in the end opted for the 1.5 turbocharged beacause of the very high output of HP and torque (some cars reported with twisted shafts as long as 180 degrees)...
@blainyrules If you are going to correct somebody, please make sure you are correct yourself. There was never 3.5 turbo engines, only 3.5 atmospheric competing with 1.5 turbos. Not only that, but the 3.0 liter V10's from 1995-2005 were also producing in excess of 1000bhp towards the end, this time normally aspirated.

That's an amazing rpm to spin a v8 at, must be a blast to drive, love the police one, would hate to see that coming in the rearview!

@dieselbadass1 Formula One cars have tiny v8s that turn more than 18,000 rpms and can produce over 1,100 horse power doing it..
HallPassExpired 1 year ago
@HallPassExpired They produce 750BHP. The only F1 cars with 1000+ were the turbo 3.5's

@thomson765 Yeah sorry, 1.6s. Was thinking of the V8s of the time.

@blainyrules there was one team running natural engines right? Stupid people... but I wonder how many horsepower the new turbo engines will deliver.
