@etong2002001 The skin under the chicken wings you can't daily reach. You can easily separate the skin from the drum stick. Just separate the skin around the thigh and keep going to the drum stick.
No offense to Caitlin, but I was enjoying this video until 5:24, when you could see that the chicken is bloody and undercooked. One hour for a chicken that size doesn't seem long enough to me, but that's just my observation. The compound butter on the chicken looks good though.

The Idea and recipe is a great recipe, but you didnt cook the chicken long enough and i would have rinse the chicken off with some cold water and pat it dry... but everyone has there own way of cooking...

Please help! I unfroze the chicken in the refrigerator a night before so it's ready to cook. But when I cook it I don't know why it taste weird. How long can I have chicken in the freeze? or a better way to unfrozen so it doesn't smell and taste weird :(
I know most people buy that kind of chicken whole from the grocery, but farm raised ones that aren't mass produced are much better. Check out your local butcher's shops. Tyson and grocerystore brand chickens are just icky.
you dont technically have to wash the chicken before you bake it. She's cooking it over the danger zone, so all the bad bacteria already on the chicken is being killed off.
I notice there is quite a few bullies on the comments.
Grow up guys.
She didn't wash it?
It was cooked at 350C for 1 hour and it was a prepacked chicken, the chicken is safe to eat, or do you want her not to breath when she cook so that her mouth vapor don't coat the chicken.
She replies after 8 month?
At least she has a life and doesn't spend everyday on youtube.
I made up a nice trick when making compound butter. Take a small plastic bag and add the butter and any herbs, garlic etc. Tie a knot, and just mush it around really well. Saves time and water :-)
I think it looks nice! You should try cooking it with the breast down, all the juices run down to the breast and make it tender and juicy!! I love it..
Thank you so much for sharing this video! The chicken looks delicious and so incredibly simple to make! I'll be cooking this tonight=)

theres a "h" in herbs yes??
icarrickrock 2 years ago
"Herbs" pronounced with an "h" and without the "h" are both correct depending on where you live. Where I am from we leave off the "h".
HonorableJ 2 years ago
Well...thats not true
'Herbs' has quite a clear 'h' at the front so you do need to pronouce it
